I just loved Dev in this scene. He was frank. He didn't try to avoid the questions or lie. Get to see the glimpse of our old Dev... I was missing him since long.
So Ishwari started with: Jab itna sab bhoolne laga hai to jise bhoolna chahiye use kyu nahi bhoolta. Kyu phone kar raha hai use. Main jaanti hun tune use phone kiya tha. Kyu Dev?
And Dev didn't lie here: Haan kiya tha. And he tell his mom he is doing it because Sona is taking a wrong decision. She's rushing into a marriage and he know she's not ready for it. Its not easy for her to forget everything. And the way he said "Main jaanta hun use". Yes he understands her. She'll not be happy in this marriage. She's doing it for her family and i can't let her do this.
And here Ishwari says why? What's the need for him to do this. "Wo teri zimmedari nahi hai". And if at all something happens she has her family by her side. Her family will take right decision for her.
I really disliked Ishwari here. But i loved the fact that Dev didn't pay heed to anything. He cannot let Sona take decision in a hurry that will only make her suffer more. This is not the solution to their problem. For Dev, Sona is still his responsibility and he'll always take care of her.😊
