If it was the actors choice I wouldn't blame her. That role had potential but the CVs didn't do justice to it with being so embroiled in Dixits family drama or occasional repetition of Sona family dynamics.

Also the Natasha's family is completely forgotten. Logically some conflict should have risen at the end of the engagement. And Dev manages it in way that didn't hurt nats and that's it. Wasn't very satisfactory.

Also Dev is supposed to a very close friend who we only see and functions. Sona has Elena to share things with. Devs friend could have helped him at this hour.

Some aspects are lacking realism.
