I watched the episode before some time and felt like the floor swept away my feet.

I have made this topic because I felt that Dev was totally in his senses when he made this decision. He was so composed while dealing with his family right? When he talked to his mother that he will correct all the mistakes , there was just a guilt of hurting his mother and no emotions for Sona.

The lines "Kis haq se", "wo tumhari kuch nahi lagti" "ab tum unki doctor nahi ho" were just downgrading him. That girl was not even aware of the situation. Atleast inform her what has happened. You fired her from the job too. Utter selfish as he used her as per his convenience.

He clearly blamed Sona for his mom's state. If he was just angry on himself, why did he drag Sona in the blame game.He could have just said its meri galti. But he sounded like she is responsible for the mess.

How easily he said tum jao, hume alag ho jana chahiye. He literally kicked her like a football. I was trying to find any emotion on his face. But I failed. I was shocked to see his stone face with no emotions in his eyes. Really a person who was so much in love with Sona forgot all the love within minutes?? Some people were saying he was saying sorry while not picking up her calls but that sorry also did not have any emotions.

In glorifying his flaws , the makers have overdone it for sure. The breakup did not have to be so bitter. And I am sure if he made her understand his situation Sona would have understood him. Even if he breaks down today, will not have any sympathy for him. Because his decision was selfish one, socha samjha faisla definitely not an impulsive one.

Today he proved that he is only the son of his mother. I cannot root for DevAkshi anymore. I will watch the show now only to see how Sona regains herself and moves on. Team Sona all the way.

they are true that dev just played a one sided game here and has not gven chance for other person

but dont worry might be in today episode he might say the reason !!

And dev thinks his mom is more than anything else in this world , he worships her

he is devotee and in devotion people will do anything and everything but the thing is he even worships his love the time when he realises this he will then blame himself instead of sona

Well explained . For me also it looked a decision.Which he took after thinking.Not a impulsive decision.

I said the same .Again I will say the same I cannot also root for DevAkshi patch up.

I agree with you to some extent on he took this decision with all his senses working properly but as Mr. Dev Dixit who is the SON of Ishwari and for whom his mother is GOD. The person whom we saw before Sona y'day was the same Mr.Dixit who took way Sona's job ruthlessly with false allegations when she rejected his job offer. He is the same Mr.Dixit who accused Sona that She failed as a doctor when his mother ate unhealthy food. He is not the Dev who proposed Sona saying he loves her as a man loves a woman. I think today Sona will bring him back to reality with her punches(dialogues). If i was in her position, I would have given a punch on his face instead of grabbing his collar.

As i mentioned the same in other replies, I still remember Shaheer's words from one of his initial press meet audio clip. A reporter asked him "You said Dev doesn't love his mom, He does pooja of his mom & he is a devotee of his mom. What is this means, Can you elaborate?" He said " Dev is the kind of a guy who doesn't think for a sec before removing and throwing away anything from his life if he thinks that its hurting his mom. When it comes to his moms happiness he doesn't think about right or wrong?". I think he is the only one who is still in his character from day one. Nothing brought change in him even now in this aspect, Not even his LOVE but i think his PAIN will bring change for sure now.

Finally a sensible post.

How true it is that we see what we want to see. Fans Ke dil hai ki manta nehi. They try to explain Dev's behaviour as impulsive because it's at least small consolation.

But if any one watches the episode with open eyes them its clear how emotionless He as throughout. So what's the point of imagining hidden pain in his eyes ?? Isse achha to ff pad lete.

May be your are right about his character being intact, but throwing away things and throwing away a human being has a difference right. Sona had to go away from his life but what I am saying is the bitter way they have taken. The breakup was bound to happen when it comes to his devotion but why the feelings and emotions vanished in the other moment. He did not even want to see her face when she came to the hospital.

@BOLD...CVs have done a beautiful job there , nothing has changed...With Ishwari and Sonakshi we saw them change after Dev fell in love with Sonakshi. But Dev's core character has been maintained thru out.

Thanks dear for understanding. He was emotionless throughout. There is no point if he breaks down after she goes and the hidden pain. Its just that the words will come back to him like tasting his own medicine so he will be heartbroken later. So proud of Sona to show him the mirror.

His dialogues were clear indication.He thought well before taking this decision.He said his mom his god.She is not bad mother n he is bad son.She is best mother in the world.He said he will make things straight.He knew making things straight for his mom is.Throwing Sona out of his life n also from job.He did that.It's not impulsive decision.

For him, the need of the hour is pushing away Sona from his life. We can see the urgency in his voice when he says "i will make it everything right before you wake up".

Honestly speaking i dont have sympathy towards none of them because of the way these people destroyed the balance in their characterization in the recent episodes execution. They are butchering these characters one after other to glorify others. First Sona, next Ishwari and now i think its Dev's turn. I am also not able to relate this break-up seq with their initial promo ones. I hope at least makers knows what they are doing & showing.
