I didnt watch todays episode but from each of your post I understood he was rude , insensitive and as usual took her for granted .

If you remember couple of his dialogues ...1) post Neha's wedding he tells her that he was so much in love that he didnt even think of spending more time with his sis...there also he didnt think that statement could hurt Sonakshi ...2) Another instance when she asked something like...wont you do it for me ,he said NO..and then he justifies his adamancy by saying that with you I dont need to think what I am talking ...I dont need to put a filter and talk. I could speak my mind out.

So this was expected. CVs have kept Dev's character intact .

What you saw was an absolute emotional breakdown of Dev...He was scared of loosing his mother. His uncles words and his mom's words added to the guilt that "him falling in love caused this issue for his mom. " Him being blindly in love that he couldnt understand his mom.

This is not the first time he is feeling guilty about falling in love as I said above after Neha's Bidhayi also he blamed his love and was guilty. So the next question is ...why is he guilty ??

Because in his life he has never wanted anything for himself. He has lived a selfless life. Here his mom is to be blamed because that lady has raised him in such a way .Anything he gets for himself becomes a selfish act. And we all know that Sona is the only thing till date he wanted for himself.

But above all what affected the most is that his mom did not share his happiness. He doesnt make it verbal but that is going to make him think why ?? This guy is totally messed up...more than Sona he needs a break .

This impulsive decision of his is going to teach him and his family the greatest lesson in life !! Its going to shake the entire Dixit family soon.

i don't know whether I'm saying right or wrong..this is my opinion nly..
he was selfish many times...today's epi too v saw selfish dev..pyaar m selfish hona chahiye...but that selfishness is not like this..he is doing what he want..not giving any importance to sona..yeah..during neha's wedding time I felt bad for sona when he told about it in phone...today too he did like that...for him his & his mom's feelings & emotions are everything...but what about sonas broken heart...Sona is also human..she deserves a better man dev..his impulsive decision really broke her..but she is strong enough to regain herself..

For me it was just a perfect episode!! every character was true to its essence!! dev has always been blind when it comes to his mother..and if ur God-like mother is hurt becoz of him,he simply cant be assumed to act rationally!!!all his emotions instantly turned numb when he heard that maan was in this state becoz of HIM!!

All his senses were completely clouded by only this very thought!!! So he took no time in taking the very decision...And that is why it is dev who is gonna be far far more hurt than sona later when he realizes the fact that his mother is human afterall and she can also be wrong!! poor dev!!

More than sona dev's needs a break.

Dev was always impulsive, trying to find instant quick fix solutions without thinking abt the consequences to others. He has been conditioned to think about his mother only n he is blind beyond that.

With Sona he started living a normal life but Ish selfish love has brought Dev back to his older ways. He just wants to ensure Ish gets btr n he is not giving any thought to what will happen to Sona, wat abt all d promises he made. He is expecting Sona to understand his pov like always n accept the breakup. But Sona isnt weak like you Dev, she wud come out even stronger now.

It wud b you who wud miss out your only chance of happiness. Once Ish is well n you wud hv no problem to find a solution for, you will realise what you lost.

P.S. I am hoping Dev acted so bluntly so that Sona gets angry n forgets him. Otherwise Sona wud hv nvr left his side when he is in such a difficult phase of his life.

I really look forward for entire dixit family to redeem thenselves . At this point they have fallen so low that redemption seems impossible
