Agreeing to all your points but still I feel this huge difference between the two.
Ishwari and Bujoy:
Difference of points:
1)Ishwari forces her decision on almost everyone. Whereas Bujoy never forced his decision on children although he is unhappy with Suarabh dada profession but never done Pills/whatever drama exclusively to stop him.
2) Ishwari Never listen to anyone- Mamaji and Neha trying hard to show the facts. Whereas Bujoy listens to Asha , Sona and even Dadi.
3) Ishwari is narrow-minded woman but Bujoy is far more board minded perosn- best example of this- Both dada and Elena pulled Sona's leg openly.
4) Ishwari never allows their daughter to have strong bond with Dev. But Bujoy never comes in between Dada and Sona.- A very clear scene was Bujoy stops Elena and Asha from consoling Sona after breakup news, but despite of that Dada came and sit next to Sona. We got to see a very emotional brother- sister hug.
5) Ishwari failed to give a healthy environment to her family whereas Bujoy and Asha gave a heatlhy and balanced environment to his family.
Personally points -Mostly Dad pampered their daughter, and mother pampered their son. This is universal fact which is I am witnessing myself at home. My hubby loves my daughter little more than son.My hubby always tell stories of my daughter mischievous with a lot of proud. That is reason Bujoy is always proud of Sona's achievement and somewhere it feels homely to me.
