I love you Khargosh :)

Dev swore he felt tears well up in his eyes, before he decided to simply shut off his phone and stop rubbing salt in his wounds. And as he leaned his body against his headboard, he couldn't help but think how much more perfect the situation would be if she were here, beside him, her body leaning on his, their fingers intertwined.
The Dixit mansion had calmed down these past couple of days. Mamiji stopped her annoying remarks, the girls stopped teasing Dev, and Ishwari was a lot happier. Everything had returned to normal, as if Sonakshi was never a part of his life. Dev Dixit was his typical self again.
---
A sharp ring echoed throughout his room. Dev was awaken from his light sleep, and realized he had fallen asleep while reminiscing about Sonakshi. It was 6:30 A.M. The normal Dev Dixit would climb out of bed, get into the shower, and then get dressed in dull, depressing colors to get ready for work.
But what if he didn't want to do that?
Feeling gutsy, he went to his closet and pulled out a tangerine shirt. He ran his fingers along the soft fabric, smiling to himself as he remembered how the shirt had helped to initiate his relationship with Sonakshi. And now that very shirt was going to help mend their relationship.
Running down the stairs, he heaved a sigh of relief when he noticed that no one was awake yet. He didn't know what Sona's response to his sudden decision would be. His fingers slowly wrapped around the gear shift, taking him to the place where he promised he would never set foot again.
---
Come outside. I want to meet you. Sonakshi glared at the message on her phone. It would be an understatement to say these last few days for her were torture. She felt unwanted. Useless. Like her relationship with Dev was a joke, that promises to be together forever had no power. Like she was a puppet in Dev's hand, coming back and leaving him whenever he chose to do so.
Her brain told her to cut him off and use every bad word she had learned against him. Her heart steered her in another direction, begging her to forgive him and run back into those muscular arms that fit so perfectly snug around her.
"Kya hua?"
"He wants to meet me." She responded, looking up to the girl who was her biggest support after her breakup.
"Then go."
"Why should I? What if he breaks my heart again?"
"Shona, it's already broken. I don't think it can break anymore."
After deliberating for a minute, she decided to go with her advice.
"Alright. Thanks."
"No problem di. Oh and if he says anything mean to you, tell me. I'll punch him for you."
"Elena!"

If I get a good response, I will update this soon. :)
