Dixit family - are they a family really?

I understand that Dev loves Sona and she is his confidante. However, isn't it odd that Dev and his sisters are having 0 conversations about why their mom is behaving differently and trying to address it together?

The Dixits are a complicated mess.. Riya and niki don't really understand anything that goes on in the household and mostly just turn a blind eye to it. Sometimes I really feel the entire family is a bunch of loonies. Mamaji being the only exception. After the confession also, I think Riya and nikki will only be added as a comic relief by teasing Dev and Ishwari will give creepy expressions while watching them. But I do hope the CVs read your post and give us some quality scenes between the bro sis. That's one of the crucial reasons for Dev's lack of understanding, he doesn't have many people to talk to. He found a confidante in Sonakshi but when things go wrong with her he's again left in a lurch and doesn't have anyone to talk to. Having some friends will probably do both the leads some good. But I don't see that happening on the show anytime soon,sadly!
