Some of you may have felt/ thought and have mentioned in some other posts that it is Sona's insecurities that is making her ask Dev to tell Ishwari about them. I dont think this is the case. She has sensed Ishwari's displeasure and sensed that Ishwari knows about them and is upset. She wants Dev to talk to Ish about it because Ishwari needs to hear it from her son or need a confirmation that her doubt or actually the truth that she knows is reality. This will not only bring out all the hidden tension but Dev will know that Ishwari doesnt like Sona which again Sona has sensed already.

What she is asking for is not immature but since she doesnt want to crib about Ish to Dev this is the only way to bring things out in open and sort'em out.

Nice post.
Sona is not insecure, she just want that ishwari should not come to know about their relationship from wrong source.

It would have been easy if she has shared her concerns about Ishwari's behavior with Dev ..that would have pushed him to confess .By hiding Situation is getting complicated for no reason.

Dev wants to focus on solving Ishwari issue first..this has created misunderstanding between them...glad we have a sensible person like Mamaji who is helping Dev

I am glad they are not showing Sona solving all the problems ...it's nice to see where both the leads are not perfect and are selfish to some extent ...I am not interested Mahan leads like we always get to see ...

I would say, Sona is not insecure. but she is feeling guilty about not sharing this news to everyone, specially with her parents. n that makes her impatient.

Nice post 👍🏼 Sona is not insecure but Ishwari's rude behaviour is making her impatient. She is worried that Ish may reject her.

Totally agree..And I live how Dev is in the fix and trying to sort it logically by balancing between both.

I think she never was and never will be an insecure person. Her nature is like it.

i think what is sinking in to her is the Ishwari - Dev bond and the impact it can have on her relationship with Dev. I am sure this introspection will help her emerge stronger and surer of how to handle both, Dev and Ishwari.

I agree Sonakshi is not acting out of any insecurity but it's also a known fact that if a woman falls in love she wants to marry the guy in future she wants the relationship to be known to the families unlike a guy if he falls in love he can keep his relationship a secret for a long time

Agree she is not insecure or anything I think she sensesd that iswari know about them ya doubting them so she wants dev tell his mother before it turned more difficult

Even I dont think Sonakshi is insecure.

She was always ready to wait for Dev. We heard her monologues several times. . Even during Neha's wedding. .that she doesn want to rush things.

But ever since Dev has fallen ill, she noticed how she has to be away from him because Ishwari thinks she is just a Doctor. She has to listen to Ishwari and RR taunts to mind her own business , reminding her of the limits as a nutritionist in the family.

Sonakshi can no longer care for Dev or his family without being looked down upon as nosey or interfering, She despises that feeling.

Plus, she is unable to share it with her own family. Dev's reluctance to share this thing with anyone makes things worst for her.

When she questions Dev in the morning, he changes the topic by saying "Why are we even talking about this"?" Hence the repeated question during the phone convo.

She even said , " Mai unhe maa bolne ka haq khoti ja rahi hu" and remembers how Ishwari didn't allow her to go to Dev's room and scolds her in the kitchen.

She thinks Dev's immediate action will address the issue of Ishwari's probable dislike in the open and will give her the rights to take care of Dev and his family. Without being looked down upon.
