Do you know that this culture is actually prevalent in UP. Instead of the couple going on a honeymoon either the wife is sent to stay with the MIL or the MIL comes immediately after the marriage to stay with the new couple. In either case there is no honeymoon. And here I am talking about the the so called educated families
Actually the concept of the show is not very far from reality but they are going overboard in everything - Ishwari looks like a vampire, Sona reincarnation of Mother Teresa and Dev Lallu Lal . 🤢
