Devakshi OS- Together Forever

So after 'THE FAULT IN OUR STARS' OS , which I considered to be my first and last OS , the encouragement some of you gave me to write more has made me come back again(too fasst!!) with another one. I hope you people will like it.

Even after Dev confessed to Ishwari that he is in love with Sonakshi and that she has became a part of his life and Ishwari accepted their relationship because of her son's happiness , Dev had a feeling that his mom is not completly happy with his relationship with Sona. He could sense that whenever he used to spend time with Sona with his mom around. Though Ishwari never showed her insecurity to Dev , he could easily make that out! The woman for whom he had dedicated his entire life , for whose happiness he worked day and night and for all those struggles she had to give him and his sisters a better life - he knew her inside out! Yes!! He had his Sona by his side, with whom he would never regret spending time with and never afford loosing her and for bringing in him the change he totally loved living with! With the two most important women on his side, fortunately or unfortunately Ishwari held a upper hand. Dev wanted to speak about this change in Ishwari with Sona. But he feared loosing Sona , he feared loosing the positivity in him that she had built up in him just like this!! But , he had to!

One fine day at the coffee shop.

Dev: Ms. Khargosh! Ithna late?

Sona: Areyy! Kya late? Sirf 5 minute late huvi hu!

Dev: Achha? Us din jab me late aaya tha, thab tho aap bade bhaashan de rahi thi!

Sona: Achha baaba teek he!! Ab bolo, ithni urgently kyu bhulaya? Kaafi tensed lag rahe ho, kuch dino se notice kar rahi hu. Kya bath he Dev? Dev: Wo..maa..

Sona: Kya hua maa ko? Wo teek tho he na? Phir se chakkar wakkar tho nahi aaya?

Dev: Wo maa...kush nahi he.

Sona: Aisa kya hua? Maamiji ne koi nayi...?

Dev: Humare rishthe se khush nahi he!!!!

Sona: Whatt? Aap mazaak kar rahe he na?! Aapki koi nayi prank he!I am sure! Tumi ekdom impossible! Nikki ne hi idea diya hoga! Kal mujhe badi dhamkiya de rahi thi ki Sona di agar aapne mujhe project me help nahi kiya toh ..ye wo..etc etc!

Dev:(cutting her words): Sona!! Stop it!! I am serious!! Sach me!! Wo kush nahi he!!

Sona: Par...aisa kaha unhone?

Dev: Nahi...

Sona: To?? Aap ko kaise patha?

Dev:Wo kehti kuch nahi he , Me samajh jatha hu..

Sona: Agar aap jo soch rahe he..aisa na huva toh?

Dev: Ithne saalo se me unhe jaantha hu...I know her!

Sona: Wo Neha..Nikki ya Riya ke baare me yaa kisi aur baath ko bhi leke pareshan ho sakthi he na? Maa ye sab aise hi hothe he. Apne pareshaani kabhi apne baccho se share nahi karthe..

Dev: Nahi Sona!! Tumne shaayadh notice nahi kia hoga!

And he tells her how Ishwari used to react when he used to talk to her regarding Sona and all those says when he felt that Ishwari is just pretending to be happy.

Sona: Par Dev!!

Dev(handing her some papers): Sonakshi! Maine Dr.Sinha se baath kar li he. Tum kal se hospital waapas join kar sakthi ho.

Sona: Dev!! Are you serious? You wanna end this..aise hi?

Dev: No Sonakshi! Maa ki thabiyath tho ab well and good he! Tum deit chart Kichu ko phone pe bathaya karo. Aur koi baath ho tho mujjse kehdo... I will be coming to see you every 2 days. Aur roz call kartha rahunga.

Sona is left speechless. She never expected this out of Dev. She thought that no matter what happens he will always be there and fight for being with her! But today how easily he broke all her thoughts about him..all that trust. She was sitting numb , looking at the table blankly.

Dev: Sona , I will still be there...

Sona: Still be there for what Dev? Aapne ek baar maa se bath karne ki koshish ki? Aap na sahi..me tho ek baar baath kar sakthi thi na Dev!! Aap aise kaise..? Bus keh diya maa kush nahi he! Aur me chali jaau ye papers dekhe?!! Wow!! I dint expect this from you!

And she storms out of the place with tears in her eyes.

Dev did not know what to do , whether to stop her or not! He still loved her but somewhere his love for mom overtook his love for Sona. He had broken his Sona's heart. He broke one part of his own heart! He was helpless.

Days passed... Dev and Sona did talk , did meet but there was nothing to speak about! Dev had informed Ishwari that she is healthy and Sona would only come if needed. Ishwari sensed there was something wrong happening. Though she was happy that she would not see Sona around with Dev in her mansion , but she too missed Sona. She had been like a daughter to her. She took care of her each an every day and even spend time with her whenever no one was around. She missed her lil gaali for not following the diet and for ignoring her health.

Dev spent most of the time with Ishwari. Ishwari was glad at this change in Dev , but she knew there is something thats making Dev do all this. Ishwari: Kya baath he Dev? Ithna wakth bitha tha he mere sath? Sona ne kaha hoga! Kyu?

Dev: Maa...Tumhare liye tho maine use...!

Ishwari: Tumne use??

Dev: Kuch bhi nahi!!

Ish:Waise...uske bina na..patha he? Nikki ko time pass hi nahi hotha! Jab dekho Sona di Sona di!! Kaha se laau? Riya bhi! Kehthi he wo hamesha Neha di ki tarah unhe har cheez me help karthi he. Tumhare Maamaji bhi..jab se wo gayi he na..usse roz yaadh karthe he. Ek hissa sa ban gayi he wo.

Dev hearing all this had tears in his eyes. He was proud that his choice was absolutely right. But his mom? He left the room making some lame reasons.

Ishwari had realised in these 3 months that her insecurity for Dev had taken away his happiness. She realised that she was wrong in thinking that Dev would go away from her if he would decide to spend his life with Sona. She was wrong. She knew , it was Devz decision for Sona to leave home and work in the hospital. She was wrong about Sona. Had she thought of taking her away from Dev she would have not been still in contact with her even after being apart from him. Sona never had made her apart from her son Dev. It was just possessiveness , her insecurity. These 3 months gave her the reality check. But now..it was time, She give her son what he deserves, what he wants , for himself!!

She goes to Devs room. She finds him looking at his phone swiping through his and Sona's pictures , laughing and crying at the same time. Ishwari sat next to him , rubbing his shoulders.

Ishwari: Bahuth yaadh aathi he tho aise jaane kyu diya use? Meri nutrition ke sath tune achha nahi kiya!!

Dev: Kaha gayi he wo? Saath tho he..!

Ishwari: Beta.. Ab toh jhoot math bhol..! Jaanthi hu..meri wajah se tune usse yaha se jaane kaha. Ye doori rakha. He na? Aisa nahi karna chahiye tha Dev! Ek baar bath tho kar letha mujhse..pooch letha baath kya he? Mujhe kya pareshaani he usse? Par nahi...!

Dev: Kya poochtha? Kaise? Tujhe waise dekhke mujhe patha hi nahi chala kya karu aur kya nahi! (Showing Sonas pics to her)Inn pictures me jo hasi he na..wo ab nahi he maa Sona me! Maine cheen lia maa! Aisa nahi karna chahtha tha..par me kya kartha? Use kaise samjhaatha? Ishwari: Wo samajhthi he Dev par shayadh wo chahthi he ki tu ek baar mujjse baath kar le aur jo kuch bhi pareshaani he uska koi upaay nikale. Aisa kaunsa sawaal he Dev jiska koi jawab na ho? Par tu he ki!

Dev: Aap tho khush nahi thi na...

Ish: Haa..nahi thi! Mujhe laga wo mujhe tujhse door karegi aur me aisa nahi hone dena chahthi thi. Patha he maa hokar aise baathe krna teek nahi he , par... Jabse tere paapa chale gaye ek tu hi mera sahaara sa ban gaya tha. Tu hi tha jo sab kuch teek kar saktha tha. Isilye tumhe uthne mushkilo me bhi padaaya , sikhaaya aur iss laayak banaya. Par me bhool gayi thi ki inn saari bikhre cheezo ko samet the tu apne aap ko kahi kho dega. Par nutrition ne..! Tu ithna khush rehne laga tha . doosro ke zaroorathe kum aur unke pasandh ko zyadha samajhne laga. Achha lagtha tha tumhe waise dekh ke. Par patha nahi kyu jab mujhe patha chala ki Sona tere iss badhlaav ka kaaran he , mujhe bhura laga. Humesha jo mere kahi baatho ko maana kartha tha , aaj vo kisi aur ki bath kaise maan gaya? Agar aisa hi chaltha raha to mujhe laga ki tujhe meri zaroorath hi nahi padegi...par me galath thi! Tu jithna use chahtha he , uthna hi mujhe bhi poojtha he. Tumhe zyadha pyar dekhe jo dard aur kadwaahat Neha seh chuki he , me nahi chahthi ki Sona ke sath aisa kuch ho. Dher se hi sahi mujhe ehsas ho gaya ki tu mere saath humesha rahega. Aur koi mujhe tujhse door nahi karega ! Sonakshi toh aisa bilkul nahi karegi! Naam bhi khoobsoorath aur wo bhi! Uss pyaari si bacchi ko maine galath samajh liya. Jaa Dev! Mana le use! Mujhe meri nutrition chahiye!Tumhari khushi , wo hasi chaahiye.Me chahthi hu ki wo humesha mera khayal rakhe, tera khayal rakhe! Patha he? Uske daant sune bina diet ka khaana khaane ka mann hi nahi kartha!

Dev could not just believe what his mom had just said. He hugged her tightly thanking her for whole heartedly accepting his relationship and apologizing for not talking to her about the same before. But now the big question was to talk to Sona. He had not been fair to her. He wanted to make her feel special and this time forever!!

On the other side at Sona' s place late in the night , she was sitting near the window remniscing all the moments she spent with Dev. Elena comes in and hands her a envelope.

Sona: Ye kya he? Kiska letter he? Address bhi nahi likha?

Elena: Letter nahi he! Photo he! Maashi ne tumhare liye koi rishtha dekha he. So..

Sona: Maa bhi na! Kuch bhi! Dev ko me aise kaise ithni jaldhi bhool sakthi hu?

Elena: 3 mahine ho gaye Sona , abhi thak koi bath nahi ban payi! Maashi ne bhi dekh liya aur mine bhi!

And Elena leaves the room. Sona wished that she could have atleast once spoken to Dev and Auntiji and sort out the issues. But she was not given a choice. Now she thought it was time to abide by her families choice now. Sona din want to spend her life with anyone else other than Dev. She could not even imagine a life without him.

With a heavy heart she went to her bed and opened the envelope. But seing the picture in her hands took her breathe away!

Just then she heard a figure near the window saying : Kyu? Ladka pasandh nahi aaya?

She ran to see who it was. She saw the picture and the person again and again. Both were the same! It was her Dev!!!

Sona: Phir se koi sapna hi hoga!

Dev: No miss khargosh! Its true! Me apne sapne me bhi aisa nahi soch saktha ki me pipe chadkar kisi din aapke room ke khidki par aapse milna hoga!

Sona just kept looking at him with tears in her eyes. She did not know how to react. She had thought it was all over now. But again Dev had given her hope.

Dev: Sonakshiii!!! Jaldhi kuch kaho na...ghir jayunga! Phir pair vair toot gaya tho.

Sona rushed and held his hand and helped him come in. She turned her face away from him. Dev hugs her from behind.

Dev: Kya soch rahi ho? I know what! Par maine bath kar li he maa se! Sonakshi..she is absolutelty fine...

Sona(interrupting him): Its Sona for u!

Dev(smiles): Sona!

He kneels down in front of her, holds her hand and says- I know maine bahuth galath kiya. Par ab sab kuch teek he!

And he tells her about his and moms convo and how Ishwari wants her back in his life. Sona makes him stand and hugs him tight.

Sona: Patha he jab Elena ye envelope leke...

Dev: Shhh...forget that! Ab me hu na!

Sona: Par aisa koi kartha he kya?Darr gayi thi kisi aur ko apne life me laane ke baare me sochkar! (Punching him) Tumi ekdom imposiible! Dev: Haa...tumhare liye impossible banna not a problem! Anything for you! Love you!

Sona: Love you too Mr.Obodhro!

Dev: Abhi bhi Obodhro??

Just then a voice behind says- Aur nahi tho kya? Ithna thang kiya meri nutrition ko!

Sona is elated to see Ishwari there.

Sona: Auntiji aaap?? Iss wakth?

Ish: Aur nahi tho kya? Sirf Dev ko nahi mujhe bhi apni Sona chahiye. Aur auntiji kya he? Maa nahi bhulaogi?

Sona: Ji..auntij..Maa..and runs to her and seeks her blessings.

Ishwari hugs her and says - Maaf karde mujhe...meri..

Sona: Maa...bus..abhi ye sab baathe nahi.

Nikki and Riya too arrive and hug Sona.

Dev and Ishwari: Tum dono yaha kaise??

Nikki and Riya: Sirf tum dono ko permision he kya Sona di se milna? We just couldnot wait!!!

Elena , Saurabh and her mom dad arrives there.

Elena: Soo..! Sona! Ladka pasandh tho he na?

Sona: Elena ki bacchi aise ideaa sirf tumhe hi aa sakthe he!

Ishwari addressing Sonas family - Agar aap ki ijaazath ho tho , Kya me aapki Sona ko mere ghar ka Sona bana sakthi hu?

Mr.Bose : Hum toh yahi chahthe the. Use apna pyar apni khushi mile. Hume aur kya chahiye.

Everyone were elated. Everyone had a smile on their faces. It was destined to take happen. Miss Khargosh and Mr.Obodhro were meant to be with each other. They completed each other. They completed their families. The entire Dixit family and Bose family in that late night, were busy discussing about when they will get them married. They din want any more delays.

On the other side Dev and Sona were sitting together in her room hand in hand making promises for maintening this happiness and colours of love between them and their families alwayss.
