But I still wish Dev had refuted it, when Ishwari said that Sonakshi is an outsider :( Though it's understandable why he couldn't say anything and perhaps it was wise to say nothing.

And as for Dev trying to tackle the problem himself, we all know what's coming ahead

Had Dev cut Ishwari's opinion about Sonakshi, it would have worsened her reaction. If you notice, he said

"Waise bhi, mujhe nahi lagta aap bahar. . ."

And he stopped there.

That is true We know what is coming. . But what made me happy is that Dev wanted to deal with the problem, for a change. I thought he would be wondering if maa would approve or not, but instead of it. . He has it in the back of his mind now. . That he will tackle it. Atleast he will try.😊
