Fantastic Post I totally agree

Ishawari and Dev have this deep connection they are mother and son yet they best friends Dev is Ishawari's pride and when Sona gifted her yes it simply shows that she will always adhere to that love mother and son has she will never tear Dev away

I felt todays episode held pride , love , family unity

One way you are correct in your analysis..

But in other way - i am disagreeing with you.. It is not revenge, but it is about hurt , emotions and feelings. Whenever we are upset with our family members, we showed them - through words or through our actions. It is not revenge. It is like in family we don't like anything, we don't hide it , we express it. That expression is necessary in family. We may or may not express our feelings to the strangers or distant relatives. Is Ishwari hides it, then their relations would have been artificial one, although she didn't say anything verbally but through her actions she conveyed alot to Dev.

Now coming to precap factor- Every mother in law faces this problem. Sharing of son is not easy task. This insecurities is always there for every mother , but degree can be high or low depending upon the individual. Ishwari not only insecure about possessive as well. She is not bad mother but normal human being who has flaws . Precap indicates the trust factor between Son and Mother. How much she trust him and her equation to him ? It happens with every parent? Being a parent , I can co-relate this factor very well. Saying this am not justifying Ishwari possessiveness nor her insecurities level..

What I am saying is - this is more real to me ? Ishwari is realistic and complex character

Indeed a very beautiful episode. Everything was pitch perfect. The emotions and the concern all very real and reasonable.

The dig into their past brought out the ishwari in open. She considers dev as her possession n not her son. He is her pride, her strength unfortunately her weaknesses too. She claims to love all her children but with dev the tangent has reached to a state of obsession. Correctly pointed out by nikki when sona gifted her the frame. If she had loved all her kids equally she should have pointed out that to sona to have a family photo instead of just her n dev.

Ishwari herself doesn't know that in future her obsession will do more damage to her son. We talk of true love but in this case I would say two aspects are there.

1. Ishwari was alone all these years n she had dev to depend upon and dev also prioritize his mother above everything. So over a period of time that priority n support along with dependability has taken shape of love but it is not. Love has to be free n you will cherish but if bound it does no good.

2. Dev has seen his mother's struggle and what she has gone through so respect, sense of responsibility and indebtedness has taken place of love.

Bother mother son are unaware of inner turmoils of each other. Wherein sona could see through both of them. Sona is the one who could see thru dev's loneliness n his fears n concerns for his family. She was the one who kept all the belongings safe when ishwari asked her throw all the old memories of her children. Even yesterday she could make out the discomfort in ishwari's behavior.

Yes the sensible sona was back yesterday. She was just spot on when she said our relation would complete all the relations n not compete with other relations to be superior. She doesn't have any ego in this relation. She understands a mother n her equation with her son n she would be catalyst to strengthen the bond further instead of creating any difference.

Love n ego go hand in hand we often say we are proud of someone n that person defines us but little do we know that it is our ego n when our ego is hurt than a stormdefinitely ruins many lives.

Whereas love in its purest firm strengthens ourselves.it allows you to be yourself devoid of any inhibitions or insecurities. Love completes a person coz acceptance with flaws is there. The souls are so connected that we understand the unsaid feelings of a person. Unfortunately both ishwari n dev are unaware of the fact. How sona will bring that sense of understanding n awareness will be a treat to our eyes.
