Please someone enlighten me on why is Dev hiding his relationship with Sona from his family?

I have the same, if he could discuss Natasha's proposal why can't he speak about Sonakshi and Ishwari seems to be trusting Dev so much. Why break that trust ??

That's a damn good question...i have also wondered about this many a times...i think dev is waiting for the right time or something... But then now he is taking too much time...

:) Exactly. They didn't even think that they should inform the family. I see no reason for hiding, Dev knows his family adores Sona(except RR, no one cares her opinion anyway), Sona's family like Dev as well and he is head over heels in love with her.. there is no sense of doubt in his mind about the relationship then why hide. Important of all how is he resisting from sharing about his new found feelings to his mom with whom he shares such a beautiful bond.

I have no idea!

I think they are hiding it for the same reason Monica and Chandler hid their relationship from their friends. It's new, and fragile. They need to figure out the relationship and define it before they announce it to anyone else.

I understand what you are saying.. but I wish it was Dev who told Ishwari about relationship.. rather than her finding out.. Anyone would feel cheated when something as important as this will hidden by their dear ones..

Dev never thought he could fall in love. Both Dev and Sona are so overwhelmed with this new change in their lives. Don't they have right to live it little bit before announcing to everyone. in addition neha's marriage
tension and Dev's cancelled engagement. May be after neha's marriage he want to tell. I guess as we know it will be late by then and Ishwari will be hurt.
