The spark is lit and invisible fumes are brewing up🥺.

For me we cannot blame Ishwari for her behaviour yesterday.

Its our natural reaction of each human being to resist change. To not shift from a place we have already made ourselves comfortable in.

Ishwari is too attached to Dev. Having no one else in her life to shower her with the affection Dev has showered her with, she has gone too used to being his centre of attention. Ofcourse, she doesn't want to share him. She is scared to lose her place, to get back alone.

We all have our personal favourites which we don't want to share with anyone. So how can we blame Ishwari for her unconditional love for Dev who has always returned it back with the same amount? And love always comes with a sense of possession.

Neither can we blame Dev. He has always been more matured than his age but still he gets excited to give surprises. Specially if its for his Mom on her birthday. A very special day for him.

And lastly we are humans. Flawed humans.

Not always do we think before we act.

Ishwari will understand but it will take her time to accept the change.

The journey of life is never smooth. And...

'' That's the thing about pain. It demands to be felt.''

Change is to be felt...so true of you to point that out.

Ishwari feels the way now because she never gave any value to her daughters. Her daughters love her too, not any lesser than Dev does, but she in return does not love them like she does to Dev. Getting surprised and shocked to Dev's gift is acceptable, but taking revenge from your son, the one you so call and show you love the most of all in the world is highly demeaning. Not acceptable, not from any point of view. No not never.

U are right in every sense but love is actually not unconditional. We always expect something in return.
Though ishwari claims to love her kids but from within she expects them to reciprocate the feelings.
We all know change is constant but acceptance is not. Thus change brings in extreme conditions. Either too much happiness or extreme pain which is to be felt by both you n your loved ones.
I neither support nor blame ishwari for her behavior coz she is in denial mode that how come her son could have done as such without her knowledge when the former used to share minutest of the detail with her.

probably dev does not realize that his mom values his time more than his gift

It actually happens..there is a special affection to the child who takes everyone's responsibility on the shoulder.
And its human nature to be impulsive and act without thinking twice how much its gonna affect the other😔
