Dev stopped in his tracks.

"Aapko jkaise pata chala ?"

"Kyunki main so nahi ; magazine pad rahi thi !"

"Aap magazine kabse padne lagi ?"

Ugh. Ye bare mein sab kuch tho jaanthe hain. Pata nahi kya 'I need to know everything' bol rahe the.

He smiled mischievously seeing the title FORBES' on the magazine Sonakshi pathetically tried to hide behind her. Khud tho ek tinke ki tarah hai, aur itne bade se magazine ko chupaane ki koshish kar rahi hai.

On second thoughts, isiliye tho meri baahon mein itni perfect fit hai.

"Sonakshi, Forbes tho business magazine hai, tum ise kyun pad rahi ho ?"

"Huh..woh"

She fumbled around , stuttering and hid the magazine underneath the pillow.

" Woh actually, uh, woh, Doctor ! I mean ek doctor- turned -businessman ka interview tha, isiliye pad rahi thi ..' she finished looking everywhere except him.

Agar isi tara se hamare saare politicians jhoot bolthe, tho hamare duniye mein brashtachar kitna kam hota.

" Really, maine tho aise aadmi ke bare mein kabhi nahi suna?"

Sonakshi stared nervously at him.

"Umm. Tho tumhe kya duniya ki saari cheezain pata hai ? Excuse me, maine pyar ka ehsaas pehle realize kiya tha "

Dev smiled sheepishly.

"Woh tho pyar ke baatein hai, us maamle ke bare mein main abhi bhi seekh raha hoon, lein business world mein mein sabko jaantho hoon aur sab mujhe.."

"Tum na zyaada smart ban ne ki koshish math karo , haan," she fumbled ..."Waise bhi"

"Shona beta.."

Both of them stopped abruptly and looked franticlallly at the door.

"Baba"

"Shit."

"Tum , tum, tumi ekdum stupid."

"Maine kya kiya ?!"

"Koi aise window se aata hai kya ?"

"Maine suna hai ki romantic hota hai" Dev pouted adorably.

Yeh mr.Aubhodro bhi na . Bilkul hi buddhu hain. Par mere buddhu hain. Lekin baba..

"Aap , yeh bed ke neeche chup jaayiye."

"Theeke"

"Sonakshi, mein fit nahi ho raha"

"Hey bhagoban, mujhe koi maar dolo"

"Sonakshi, aise baatein kabhi bhi dobara mat bolna. Main ..."

"Dev, senti hone ka koi samai nahi hai hamare paas."

"Aap, aap , yahan aao, almirah ke andar,"

Dev looked hesitant.

"Jaldi" she glared at him.

Dev rushed into the wardrobe.

Sonakshi mera dum ghutega, mein..."

She shut the door on his face.

And simultaneously Mr.bose appeared at the door.

"Baba, .. ki holo ?" she asked wondering if he had seen anything.

"Woh shona beta, mein muffler lene aaya tha." and sayinf so he proceeded to move towards her wardrobe.

Sonakshi'e eyes bulged. She rushed and stopped almost like a barricade in front of the wardrobe door.

"Baba" she yelled.

"Ki holo?" he jumped back.

"Hah, woh actually maine mufflers .. uh .. dhone ko dediye"

"Shona, lekin hamne tho kabhi pehna hi nahi use"

"Uhh.. wahi toh baba, isilye.. pata nahi kya kya chemicals honge, hamare health ke liye bohot bura hai, yeh sab."

"Accha theekhe.." he turned..Sonakshi heaved a sigh of relief

"nahi tho tum mujhe purani waali hi do"

"BABA! ... I mean, woh thode... thode kapde pade hain"

"Tho maine kya tumhare kapde nahi deke hain isse pehle? Baba hoon main tera "

"Aah ...umm"

Socha Sona soch.. warna teri aur Mr Dikshit ki tho..

"Who baba ... dada jiske business karthe hai na .. us jaise kapde ke bare mein baath kar rahi thi"

His hand stopped mid-air

"Oh. Us.. accha theeke... woh ... umm baad mein dena "

And he exited the room.

Tumhi amake pagal karecho Mr Dikshit.

She opened the wardrobe. He rushed out panting and breathed in a gust of air.

"Maine tho socha ki meri wahan kaam khatam hi ho gayi."

"Waise aapke dada aise kounsa business chalathe hai jisse aapke papa itne darte hai ?" he asked jokingly.

"Woh actually ling...umm.. woh" she blushed furiously .."woh un..d.. umm woh lin... long ..long saadiyan ki business chalathe hain.. textiles ki ?"

"Oh.. aap ke baba ko saadiyan pasand nahi hain ?"

"Woh ... actually ... unhe lagta hai ki log usme bohot old fashioned dikhthe hain"

"Oh .."

"DEV BABU ?!! AAP YAHAN ?!!'

Sonakshi rushed to the door, pulling Souarbh inside and shut the door.

"Dada!! Kisiko nahi pata"

"Ohhh, chori chori chupke chupke ?"

Both of them went red .

"Woh actually main na tujhe ye bataane aaya tha ki thank to teri online website waali idea, aajkal na sales bohot acchi tarike se ho rahi hain!"

Sonakshi gulped. "Actually dada..woh"

"Aap online bhi apna business chalathe hai ?"

Souarbh looked from Dev to Sonakshi and back to him.

"Aapko pata hai mere business ke bare mein?"

"Haan, abhi abhi Sonak.. I mean Miss Bose ne mujhe pataya"

"Accha.."

Shona tut ho badi open ho gayi ..

"Haan actually ... "

"Tho phir aapke customers ko measurements kaise pata challenge ... aap woh bhi mention karte hain ?"

Sourabh blinked .."Haan ham woh bhi mention karte hain ..Kyun Dev babu aapo chaiye the ?"

That day red suddenly bore a new shade and it expressed itself on Sonakshi's face .

Amake hatya karo koi .

"Nahi main aise cheezein kyon pehnunga, yeh tho ladkiyan pehenthi hain "

"What ? Aap yeh sab pehenthe nahi hain?"

Dev looked stupidly at Sonakshi.

Sonakshi took the glass of water from her nightstand and started gulping it down urgently.

"Nahi main kyun pehnunga ... woh actually mein apne maa ke liye pooch raha tha.."

Sonakshi choked and spit out the water.

"Dev babu ?! Aap .. aaap,.. I mean aapke maa ke liye .."

"haan woh actually unka birthday aa raha he tho main soch raha tha.."

Sonakshi mentally slapped herself.

Jab maine socha ki finally maine kamse kum baar jhooth bol hi diya.. tho Mr Dikshit mujhe yeh sikhathe hain ki main kitni bewakoof hoon iss sab mein..

"Woh Mr Diksit actually mein .."

"Aap aisi cheezein apne maa ko khareed kar dete hain ??"

"Haan generally Tina khareedthi hain .. lekin"

"Tina kaun hai ?"

"Meri secretary."

Sourabh looked aghast at Sonakshi . Sonakshi furiously shook her head from one side to the other.

"Woh actually meri pasand janthi hain.. like in shades of blue "

"Aur waise bhi maa jaathi hain tho normal cheezein khareedthi hain, chaahe mein kitna hi kyon na bolon.. lekin mujhe unhe silk me dekhna sabse pasand hai.

Sonakshi suddenly found her feet to be the most interesting thing in the world.

"Silk" Souabh muttered nervously .."aapko silk pasand hai?"

"Haan ... mere hisaab se ladkiyan aise kapdon mein bohot khubsarat lagti hain, jab Sonakshi ko pehli baar pehenkar dekha tho ..' his eyes glazed over.

Sonakshi stared worriedly at her brother. Sourabh was red with fury.

Hey bhogoban. Satyanash ho gaya.

"dada.. woh"

"aapne meri behen ko ?! How dare you Mr Dikshit. Kal thak tho Mr.Aubhodro aur aaj Sunny leone ki male version ?!! " he seethed.

"Sunny what " Dev asked wonderingly

Sonakshi grabbed her phone from the from the table and quickly texted Elena.

Elena jaldi idhar aa, bohot gaadbad ho gayi yaar. Mein tumhe baad mein bataungi.. pls aakar dada ko yahaan se le jaa..

"DADA!!"

Sonakshi rushed to help Dev who was struggling to understand what was going on and at the sme time choking under Surabh's hold

"Maine aap se ye ummeed nahi ki thi Mr Dikshit"

"Dada.."Elena rushed in , shocked at the sight she beheld.

"Aap mere saath movie dekhne chaliye na ..." and saying so she dragged Sourabh away from the room muttering a quiet "Sorry" to Dev

Dev stood panting, still oblivious to the misunderstanding that had just occurred.

"Yeh aap Bose logon ki speciality hai kya, jab dekho tumi tumi kehkar mujhe maarna ?"

"Woh actualy maine aapse jhoot bola .."

He sighed. "Sonakshi.." he said chidingly.

"Woh dada ka actually lingerie, undergarments aur innerwear ka business hai ."

Completely mortifying silence.

"Oh."

Dev discovered a new shade of pink that day.

"Oh isilye aapke papa.. oh my god maa, ...maine Sourabh se kaha ki maine aapko .. Shit"

"Haan" Sonakshi uttered bluhing.

Devs lips turned upwards noticing it.

He quickly pecked her on the right cheek.

Sonakshi's eyes flew open wide in shock.

"Yeh Forbes padne ke liye"

And then did the same to the other cheek.

"Aur yeh mujhse jhoot bolkar, phirse fail hone ke liye.

Sonakshi still under shock tried to muster a fake glare.

But he had already jumped out of the window, unable to withstand the embarrassment himself, leaving a smiling Sonakshi to herself as her hands lingered on the place where his lips touched her, in giddy joy.
