Mages: Your thoughts are bang on. I also was not comfortable of Dev being distracted. Ishwari has not forgotten the modest background and difficulties that they had to face prior to this life that they are leading. If she comes to know that he has been neglecting work and office to be close to Sona, this will shake her faith. And she will irked with Sona.
As you mentioned, Sona has been the strong one in the relationship and she has never neglected her work despite her pain and now her happy feelings during this love phase.
As for Ranvir, again you are quite right. The whole thing of offering job to Ranvir did not sit well with me. But now he has realized that money is NOT important when two people are in love. I think their next meeting, he will say sorry to Ranvir and the relationship between Ranvir and Dev will improve, but this might cause a big dent on his relationship with Neha. She will again think that Dev is neglecting her happiness on behest of Sona.
Another thing is, Vicky making advances towards Sona. While so far, it has not come to Dev's attention. Already Vicky has seen what happens when Dev gets upset. He ended up being in prison. I dread the day, when Dev sees Vicky's advances towards Sona. I will not be surprised if he raises his hand on Vicky and probably resulting in Vicky going out of the house. This will get him in big trouble from Mami.
So, all the three inclidents - his neglect towards work, Neha being unhappy with Ranvir not accepting the head of dept position and finally Vicky and Mami. All these will make the path of these love birds very difficult...But I am hoping they would emerge strongly...
How Ishwari will react to these above scenarios, is what I am very curious looking forward to. I recall in one incident where she tells her youngest daughter that she is aware that she gets her money from her other sisters and from Dev apart from her regular pocketmoney. But despite knowing all these, she keeps mum because She believes that interfering in every relationship is not healthy"/...so will she be quiet and not say anything to Dev or will the mother in her speak her mind?

what i didn't like was dev trying to change ranveer for neha and dev neglecting his work...on practical front...sona is more mature than dev...she is new to love feelings too...infact she was in love with dev even before dev's realisation and confession but the way she balance her work...family and her one-sided feelings for dev was marvellous...truly a family and working women...she compromise with nothing and nobody...even now she balance work..family and love beautifully...i love the way she answer back to dev that she is still working here...she knows cautious abt her own presence...unlike dev who is now being a little irresponsible due to his new feelings...yes dev is changed man now but at the same time he needs to be balance with work...it was unprofressional that tina has to postpone all his meetings...those clients are his investors w/o them his company would not have made big...due to his irresponsible behaviour what if those investors refuse to do business with him in future...ranveer came with a serious issue and he was not in the office...well this can be ignored but tina was calling him and he switched off his phone...what if something major happens in his office and tina trying to call him many times but could not go through by the time he come...its too late now...on practical front...dev is being childish and its high time he learns to balance...dev work so hard to reach where he is now...all it takes a careless attitude to bring him to the position where he was and the blame will fall upon sona...its disrespect towards his love...i don't want dev to loose what he made with hardwork due to his new feelings...this carelessness of dev is enough to make ishwari reject sona...furthermore his lies to ishwari...dev is complicating the situation...its going to be a blow when ishwari finds out dev's new behaviour...
i hope dev focus in balancing soon...love feelings is beautiful but one needs to balance with love and real world...its a big bad world outside and it doesn't understand the language of love...
