Haven't wrote anything on any forum for ages and reading three pages of praises on how beautiful the confession was, was it not enough ? But who cares as I just have to pen it down that this was one of the few extraordinary beautiful and heart touching confessions which is going down the history.
A man who had lost everything, who had thought that he didn't need anything in his life, whose life was only to give back everything to his mother finally found out that he needed some one to breathe, someone to talk, someone to smile, someone to share, someone to live with...He stood their and opened up his simple heart and as the man Dev Dixit was...confidently went straight to the point "I love you". Not as a friend, but as a man loves a woman. His face showed his confidence and his eyes showed the surety...he is sure of what he is feeling and then the gentleman Dev Dixit was, stepped back, giving her space to answer...what a beauty. Indeed a gentleman he is...he didn't want to tower on her, he stepped back to give her the space she needs to digest what he had just told her and waited heart pounding and eyes anxious to hear what she has to say. I almost felt he held his breath there. You could feel him relaxing when he held her in his arms finally...Shaheer, you absolutely nailed it.
But it wouldn't have been perfect without Sona. Her bewildered face hearing that the man she loves, loves her too not as a friend but as a man...how simple and cute she is. And then the emotions which she has been controlling in front of him flooded out, eyes filled with tears she asked if she could get a hug pls...can she get any cuter. I felt as if I was seeing a polite kid asking permission but that is who Sona is..she is the simplest soul who has never loved anyone before. And into the arms she went , hugging him tightly...ensuring herself that this man Mr.Dev Dixit is finally hers. Erica you nailed it as Sona.
And all extra credits go to the writer, director and camera man...everything combined gave us the best confession ..what a beauty đ
