What would you do if you come to know that your engagement has been broken on the engagement day?

Imagine all the preparation are done, guests are called and family is present at the venue.

What would be your reaction?

I'll be shattered for sure. Every girl will be.

But if the case is like Dev, it'll be good to break the engagement. If the guy loves someone else i'll never want to marry him. It's better to break the relation at an earlier stage.

Now for that i need to imagine that i am a girl..okkk.. So my reaction would be ..i guess if it's a arranged marriage and I don't really feel for that boy in that case i will sit with my family members and will surely curse him for him being the reason of humiliation of me and my family you know duniya wale aur unki baatein and yeah will feel little defeated,,and will never forgive that guy because whatever his reasons are he can never justify what he did you know it's a big thing to break the engagement on the day of engagement...

In India for a girl these things matter a lot specially if she belongs to a middle class family Natasha's case is different she is rich and money can makeup anything, is what i believe..

Rejected, humiliated, and confused... as to why this happened... 😭

definitely angry as well.. 😡coz why did it have to happen this way...😭

in ideal cases, yea i know we would all say- we should be happy n all... that all ended before it got too late.. but it should not have reached to the level of guests involved.. coz now its also about self-respect..

I have a big heart... so eventually i would let it go... but it will take time for me to heal... esp if i am in love with that person... mayb i wont forgive this person even... but all that depends on how they handle it...

mostly our emotions depends on the situation... coz we cant imagine the real pain n humiliation unless we go thru it...

I'd probably go through a whole bunch of emotions ranging from anger to humiliation to sadness. Eventually though i'll probably think good riddance. Rishta jurd ne se phele toot jaye toh behtar hai. It's 100 times more heartbreaking and scaring if a marriage falls apart.

Though personally i don't believe in engagements. They are overrated.
