Heya buddies.Here is yet another update of 3 days.
* Day 1*
The horrific sound of her phone disturbed her dreamy slumber, his face popping into every corner of her mind.She pressed the accept button without even looking at the Caller ID.
"What??"
"Still sleeping.Rise and Shine,love"
His husky morning voice greeted her, throwing sleepiness out of the window.She looked at her watch, its 7:30 only, she isn't late yet.
"Don't call me that"
That sentence just rolled out of her tongue without even thinking or trying, she was so used to this.But like usual he ignored her complains
"Its like mid- night ,Dev.Why you called me this early"
She pouted.
" Only you would consider it as mid- night.Only you"
He laughed reminiscing old memories.
"And don't pout"
She was stunned, looking here and there for any traces of him.
"How do you know ?"
"Sona,i know you like back of my hand"
He genuinely answered.
"Now get ready, i am coming to pick you up in 15"
He hurriedly said taking off her car keys ,walking towards his car.
"Why?? I am not going anywhere with you, i have work"
She reasoned him but the truth was something else; she didn't wanted ti spend time with him knowing well that he will easily be able to break her hard exterior that she had built in these 2 years.
She had given him 3 days but she also had made up her mind that she won't go back to him.
"I am not taking you anywhere but just dropping you off at your work, i Know Dr.Bose is very strict about her work"
He cleared out his intentions; he will do everything to get her back.
"Uh- huh.Dev , you do know that i have a perfectly working car and i am capable of driving it"
She sassed off.Her sassines did nothing but just added to his happy mood.
"Ohh i know but i want to.Don't say no, you have given me 3 days which means i can do any and every thing to impress you.Right??"
His question brought her back to the reality.She cannot say no to him.
"Fine.But if you're not here in 15 i will head off without you"
She accepted his offer but with a warning wrapping her sentence..
"On my way"
He yelled over phone excitedly.

She was putting on her bracelet , looking at the clock waiting it to strike 15 minutes.As soon as it striked 15 minutes her doorbell rung signalling that he is here.She opened the door knowing well that he was just waiting 15 to be over.
"How long you have been standing here??"
She questioned his old tactics.He was changed yet the same.He smiled as she still remembered, bringing a new hope in him.
"Not more than 5 mins"
He replied cheekily.She noticed that he smiled more, laughed more.One point to him.
"What are we waiting,lets go"
Her tone a little harsher than she intended it to be.Dev didn't looked hurt but a knowing look spread across his face, he was certain that she was just hiding in her true feelings.
The car ride wasn't filled with their chatter,it was silent; not that uncomfortable kind of silence but a calm and comfortable one.For Sona it almost felt surreal just like old times when he would pick her up drop her to her work.It was like their whole past replaying in front of her.A screeching sound made the car to come on halt.
"We are here."
Dev announced getting out of his car and jogging towards her side and opened her gate.Showing off his newly found gentleman skills.
"Hmm i see chivalry isn't dead"
Came out her sarky reply.With that she started walking inside her hospital; feeling relieved that He isn't with her.But little did she know; She said that very fast.
He was following her, hot on her tail.
"Why are you following me??"
She stopped abruptly in her tracks making dev to bump in her.
"Uh- huh"
He seemed a bit lost to her
"I will be accompaning you her.You can't say no"
He replied in a sing a song voice ; focusing his attention only on her.
"But Dev"
Her fears were coming back.
He didn't stop to listen her but just went on in her cabin.

Dev was with her whole day, helping her with her work.He never once complained about her rude behaviour.
"Get me a glass of water"
She barked in her orders, it hurt her to do that.But for the sake of her heart and feelings,she was bound to do that.
Dev had already guessed her internal battle.He wasn't the one to crumble at her rude words.
"Sure"
If it was old Dev then he would have left her just after her first remark.
It was time to leave from here.Staying with dev was resurfacing her feelings ,she had to do something to stop this.
An idea came to her mind, she tip toeingly walked from the main door and went to home catching an auto; leaving dev alone in the hospital.
Maybe its the best for us to stay like this
She thought, laughing bitterly at her helpless situation.
But little did she knew; he was already stepping in her heart again.

Dev came back with a glass of water only to find him alone there.He should have known that she was a tough nut to crack.She won't give in so easily.He was disappointed .Sound of his buzzing phone filled the empty room with noise.He checked the caller ID to find that it was Sona who was Calling him.He wondered why
"Ummm Sorry Dev,i have to leave without you.I really am Sorry"
She waited for him to shout or yell at her but his next words shocked her
"Its fine,love.But don't go off wandering alone here and there"
His soothing voice made wonders in her heart.He smiled ; She has a heart of gold, she was feeling guilty that she left him alone.
Maybe she was going soft.
