If you remember the initial promos, Sona asks Dev to talk to maa about their relationship and he says Maa kuch nahi kahegi par hamare rishte se khush bhi nahi hogi.

Today, Ishwari said, she wants Dev to think about himself before choosing his life partner...I must say I was surprised.

She also seems to like Sona as well.

Something big has to happen between now and then for Ishwari to dislike Sona so much.

Any guesses?

It's very clear that Ishwari likes Sona as one of her daughter but was very uncomfortable even while Sonas family called Dev as Dev Babu. And that Dev did quite a few things out of the way for her.. She does not like Dev being linked with her or even Natasha. No particular reason except that she is bit too possessive about him..if he will divert away from his responsibilities. And the no#1 position in his business world..
So I don't expect any big stuff to happen.. But mayb it cud b the Vicky kaand.: that would land Sona into trouble .: as she might not spare Vicky then.:

Hmmm... may be.

Frankly, although Ishwari appeared very concerned and worried about Dev's decision regarding Natasha, it didn't appear to me that she will oppose Dev's decision.

In fact, she seems pretty resigned to the fact that he has to get married one day and start thinking about himself.

i thnk itz nothin gonna b lyk ishwari hatin sona... coz cvs hve promised us tat thy wont mke it as a saas-bahu thngy!!

itz gonna b a total new concept... in promos also u can see tat dev iz jst hesitatin 2 spk wid his mom coz he feelz tat she wont lyk it nd he also sayz tat she wont say nything bt he jst undrstandz it !! itz lyk dev's mom's pure love 2wardz him wil turn into possessiveness nd wil hurt 2 let ny othr girl share him wid her bt she also doesnt wnt 2 cme btwn her son's happiness !!

the concept of d show iz itself a bit complicated 2 undrstand or express... i beleive tat our script writers wil xhibit tis in a bttr manner nt makin any of d 3 bad!!

Ishwari is very possessive when it comes to Dev. She knows that when Dev will be married, she has to share her son; she has fear that she will loose all the love and attention that she gets from him now.

I think she doesnt want Dev to get married.. when its comes Dev's marriage, Ishawari gets possessive and sad.. her emotions changes

Actually, Ishwari's recent behavior is confusing me. Let's assume for a moment that Dev says he wants to marry Natasha.
What do you think Ishwari will do?

I don't think that anything big has to happen.

The show is shaping up in a way very different than others shows. Generally, both leads fall for each other around the same time frame and we are so used to this and are finding it hard to digest the fact that the male lead Dev has no clue whatsoever.

But there are instances like this in reality where heart takes a really long time to warm up to someone to get that realization. There are many one sided feelings that may or not get reciprocated. I think we should stop thinking about Dev realization and only enjoy Devakshi as the other stories like Neha, Elena, Natasha etc unfold around them. Dev may not realize anything for the next two months, who knows... It is disappointing for us as fans but I think we still have a lot to look forward too. Lot of suspense...

Right now I am waiting for all the SBS segments to be telecast, Sona in orange, blue and white kurta. I think all the SBS segments we have seen so far till date will cover next weeks' episodes so I still don't understand why they showed us the orange shirt promo. little premature I think.

I think Ishiwari is not saying anything now because of the business deal. Once Sona comes to the picture she will definitely go against her because she bring nothing compared to Natasha. (I am talking about material things, not love, care etc)

Well that promo showed Dev's hesitation to speak to Ishwari about his relationship with Sona so really it seems like Dev is pre-empting a clash between Sona and Ishwari by not informing her about his feelings for Sona. It seems as though that Dev doesn't actually know how Ishwari would react but he feels that she wouldn't exactly be happy.

Judging by what's happening in the show though, Ishwari is actually quite fond of Sona so I think the problem will be for Ishwari to accept the change in Dev's priorities. We're seeing her deal with it now where she is worried that she'll grow distant with her son. I actually think that Dev will be the one who'll cause the conflict by not being open with Ishwari and also keeping Sona in limbo regarding their relationship. Great post though! 😊
