Today's episode was all about deciphering feelings and making decisions. The thing I like about KRPKAB is that the conversations shown between two people always strike a chord with the viewer. There's an authenticity to it all which we can all connect with. Each character on the show is going through a difficult phase right now. Whether it's Sona and her one sided love, Dev's pressure to make a big decision in his life or Ishwari setting her son free to make that decision on his own, you can see that all three characters have reached a junction in their life where they're struggling.

I just love the conversations between Dev and Ishwari. They are a wonderful mother and son duo and the bond between them is something very special and unique. The background song/music always adds this extra something to the talks they both end up having. Today was no different. The way Dev opens up to Ishwari on the question of marriage was so sweet. Some light was finally shone into what Dev's perception of love is and what he has been sensing and thinking. That's a big step because we're all eager to see him fall in love with Sona but we're still trying to figure out how Dev is as a person. This orange candy is literally like an orange. You have to peel away every layer to find out a little about him to understand why he is the way he is and what certain things means to him. He is a very simple guy and for him, the question of love and marriage has never been at the top of his list. The way he says ,'kabhie is bare main socha nahi' and 'tu bata na kya karu' was innocently conveyed by Shaheer. The trust and faith he has in his mother is quite something.

Ishwari's response was equally heart touching. It's Dev's decision to make and no one else's. I don't think she could have given any better advice to her son. Parents wish to see their children happy and seeing them choose the right life partner and settle down is a worrisome topic that eventually brings joy. Ultimately, Ishwari feels that such a decision which is joined to Dev's business is best left to him. In a way, she probably does not want to influence or force a decision on him, just like any other parent wouldn't. For Dev, it's time to figure it out on his own. Up to now, all the decisions he has made have been with the consultation of Ishwari. But Ishwari knows that Dev needs someone to look after and walk with him now and such a decision can only be taken by him, no matter how strong a bond they have. I think Ishwari's words 'mujhe toh bas tere saath chalna hai' also highlighted how relationships between parents and children change. Ishwari is dependent on Dev now in her older age and for her, simply being by his side is enough. An extremely thought provoking conversation between mother and son which I believe elements of very much occur in other people's lives in reality.

Dev's fear and worry on the deal and marriage being one and his decision being of greater importance therefore, was well displayed by Shaheer. We're really getting to see different sides to Dev starting to come out now. There are very few people who he can turn to confide in and discuss his worries so Sona being one of them is not a biggie. However, it's a definite breakthrough that he has started to discuss his feelings with her. Even though it might be purely from a friend's perspective, he feels comfortable enough and holds Sona in the highest regards to give her a call and share how he is feeling. One question guys though, and correct me if I am wrong, but how did Dev know that Sona knew about the proposal? Or did he just assume? Anyway that was a short conversation and Dev always phones at the wrong time when Sona is at her weakest and in tears. I don't know how that girl manages to keep herself composed but she's trying. Sona herself also tried to make sense of what Dev thinks of her and concluded that she has basically being friend zoned. All those thoughts and feelings are exactly what a girl goes through when dealing with one sided love. I am glad that Sona decided to have that conversation with Elena and try to make sense of it. For her to distance herself from Dev is probably the most sensible thing to do right now. It's probably the only thing she can do.

Another bit I absolutely loved was the flashback Ishwari had to a young Dev talking about why people get married and him not getting married. Ishwari's words 'waqt aagaya hai Dev' stayed with me. It's all about time. Time for Ishwari to accept that there will be another woman of importance in Dev's life and time for Dev to open his heart and understand what he wants. Poignant words knowing what the premise of this show is all about 😊

Finally the whole kitchen scene between Dev and Sona was woahhh high drama! I think after a long time since the accident I say, that we've seen a host of emotions erupt between the two. Boy did they just let rip into each other 😆 It's high time Dev started this process of introspection now. Not just regarding Sona, but the more meaningful things he wants in life. Dev shouted at Sona in a way he shouted at the poor nurses for neglecting Sona in the hospital 😆 Interesting to find out that even Dev has been sensing her weird and aloof behaviour. Clearly he is not blind to this 😆 I'll take that! Most important words for me by Dev 'aapka khayal rakhne ke ilava, mere paas aur bhi kaam hai. Kitni baar khayal rakhu?' This man. Sigh. It's time to figure it out 😆 I am not surprised Sona reacted the way she did. The girl is a mess right now and Dev's caring behaviour is the last thing she needs.

Precap: Feeding each other crackers or biscuits? This is not Dev! 😕

I loved the kitchen part and the khayal rakhne wala part... It was more like dev was saying that to himself more than to sona... He was confused as in y he was so into taking care of sona...
