I caught the co-star video of Erica and Shaheer earlier today and one of the things that Shaheer mentioned was how the time slot is so apt in that before going to bed, it will make you smile. Watching today's episode, I can understand exactly what he meant because I just couldn't stop smiling. Best episode so far in the last few weeks for me and credit has to go to Erica Fernandes in her scenes with Prerna Panwar aka Love Doctor Elena😆, along with that magical, dreamy sequence with Devakshi
Where do I start?! There were so many bits that made laugh, smile and go awww! The little sibling battle with the eyes and gestures between Dev and Nikki 😆 These two are the cutest! I loved how Dev was signalling to her with his eyes and head swivels but Nikki the stubborn, young one stood there trying to tempt him with the console 😆 The thing I love about the scene is how it automatically brought Sona back into the picture. Despite not being present physically in the house, she has left her mark through that console.
Supriya ji was fantastic as the shocked and slightly awkward mother presented with a proposal for her son. Knowing how she feels about Dev's marriage talk, her body language and expressions were spot on 👍🏼 You could really sense how she tightens up when it comes to Dev's marriage and how she almost purses her lips so as to not saying anything untoward. The way she managed to handle that knowing this was a tricky conversation was well conveyed.
The bit that really stood out to me was Dev's restlessness. Now we could look into this forever and I am trying to understand exactly why he was so dumbfounded. 1. He never expected it to come from a merger business deal 2. Is Sona on his mind? I think the former at this stage makes sense because he was definitely not expecting a marriage proposal attached to a business deal 😕 What was even more funny was him calling Tina and asking how many merger deals have come with proposals 😆I'm just going to say here that Dev Dixit is an extremely cute guy and whilst the Gujrals may genuinely have come forward with the proposal with good intentions, it's perfectly ok and valid for Dev to dig further to find out exactly what the Gujrals want - him or a business deal? I also find it extremely weird that Natasha (or Nuts😆) has been following his rise and asked her dad to partner with Dev 🤔 It seems a little fishy and slightly stalkerish if you ask me.
In addition, I am sooo enjoying Erica Fernandes playing Sona and her banter with Prerna as Elena. Both have great camaraderie on and off screen. Today, we saw Sona display this 'awww' worthy kashmakash. Her adorable way of saying how she wants to distance herself from Dev but he pops up everywhere and how she doesn't want to love him or care for him anymore was so sweet! Really liked the use of the bed and pillow as a prop and setting there as Erica moved from one end back to the other, playing with her pillow. But the most adorable thing was how her heart still wants Dev 😆 Loved it when Elena asked 'tu chahti kya ha?' and Sona was like 'unhe' 😳
Finishing up on that dream sequence which was always going to be a dream sequence coz Dev Babu has no light switched on yet 😆, where shall I begin?? Heck, I don't even care if it wasn't the real thing, the chemistry between the two, the setting, the atmosphere was uh-mazing! It made me smile, just like Shaheer Sheikh said the show will. From the smiling Dev at the bed side, to the finger on his lip to quieten her, to holding her hand and leading her out, everything was just dreamy! This is the Dev we are dying to see, one that sparkles and glows, one that can be cheeky and take the lead. Shaheer with his husky voice and confession was a dream to watch! I don't think I can elaborate anymore. Cheers for the smiles KRPKAB team!
