True. Even i did nt like the way she said that he needs to take care of his sisters so he cant have his live his own life. Dev has sacrificed so much already and here she is making him sacrifice even more. I wish her daughters make her realise that they can fend for themselves by becoming independent. They dont require their bro to give away all his life for them

Totally agree with you
Ishwari is too possessive about her son dev.
She is fully jealous when she came to know how much dev has done for this family and Sona
Hats off to supriya Pilgoankar for brilliant acting

This Ishwari character is very realistic and we all can find such type of person everywhere.
Sharing of son is one of the most difficult task of any mother.

May be it is because of our so called tradition - son looks after the family and daughter goes away with her husband. What will happen to mother or parents of daughter in law doesn't allow their son to look after them ? Mother's insecurities play an important role in sharing of son. A mother is more dependent on son usually ( not always ) struggles a lot with sharing.
In fact in such type of case even if son gets married then their married life is not smooth one till and unless that son is sensible enough to keep balance between two. Dev 's wife will have more struggling life because of Ishwari over possessiveness.

Even I dont get it
She should be happy that her son is moving towards romantic life.

She keeps complaining that Dev hasn't enjoyed anything in life due to responsibilities, so now when everything they have at least let him enjoy love life. There cant be anyone better then sona, she knows sona really well and knows she is a responsible girl, she has immense respect for elders etc etc.

Neha is such a messed up girl still she wanted her to get married AND Dev is quite responsible and successful but for her he is a kid. If he is a kid, then neha who is younger than him is not a kid? Still she wanted her to get married.

Marriage doesn't mean he wont remain responsible anymore, but one has to make family on right time. I feel like one day she will bring Gareeb ghar ki ladki like Radha Rani.. She is impossible.
