I am simply adoring the way the Creatives are developing her character. Her dialogues are weighty and she has given some smashing punchlines till now which are not only powerful but also classy and impressive.

"Dev sahab aap Ek ameer garib insaan hain Jo iss doctor ko afford nahi kar sakte"

"Real estate ke baare mein I know better than you... So now you know kaisa Lagta hai when someone teaches you your work. Ab mujhe Apna kaam karne dijiye"

"Ab samajh mein aaya Dev Dikshit itne difficult Kyun hain"

I know she can be careless sometimes, egs the Atta incident but the character is all the more realistic with it. Everyone of us has faults, don't we?

She dealt pretty good with Khatri. Alert and smart.

And in today's promo, when Dev lost his cool and was shouting, she remained calm which made her stand out among the two.

Even during the Atta scene, she made it so simple to convey

"Aapne toh sirf meri job cheen li"

Dev: Lekin yahan sab kuch tumhaari pichli job se better hai... Yeh Ghar, tumhaari salary...

Sona: Except for my boss

Her dealings with Ishwari have always been super. Not to forget the 5 in 1 line. And the sookhi roti scene had me in splits!

Sona: Chinta mat kijiye aunty, yeh sookhi roti khali do teen din ka tension hai

Ishwari: Phir ghee waali milegi?

Sona: Nahi, phir aadat pad jaayegi!

She hasn't raised her voice even once till now... It shows her class. No melodrama, no Rona dhona- A strong girl who can support herself and her family.

She is funny too,

Dev: Kya keh rahi thi Maa ke baare mein?

Sona: Pata nahi Kyun use Subah Subah shopping Kyun karna hai

Dev: Main apni Maa Ki baat kar raha Hoon!

Sona: Oh sorry😆

But I am disappointed with the treatment meeted out to her. Ishwari being old and orthodox, isn't able to understand who exactly a nutritionist is... She either takes her for a cook, a maid...

She explained it to her friend in such a fashion, no wonder that aunty took her for a maid... With tip top clothes😕

Anyone shouts at her anytime... Including Neha, Ishwari and even Dev!

And she was the one who compromised on her self respect and job to join this so called "Job"...

So in the end, Sona is a complete package to watch out for! The Perfect Calm Sherni...😉

I would love to see some thought clashes and ego clashes of Dev-Sona... The sparks would be wonderful to see! After all they are two professionals, two self sufficient people😊

Yes Mahisee. I am also loving Sona's calm demeanor. Yes inside her emotions are burning. But outside she controls herself in what she speaks.

And she gives tit for tat single liners also. After Durga of EHT where I had seen a woman who controls her emotions, next one I am seeing is Sona.

Durga had ulterior motives to have that control, but Sona's control on emotions comes as a refreshing change of a balanced individual which is so different in TV where only we have female protagonists who react , shriek and cry

In tomorrow's episode, Neha and Ishwari shouted and then precap showed Dev shouting on her
But she remained calm and composed and answered every shout and question calmly
I didn't loved the way Ishwari said to her old friend about Sona being a cook or maid😡but she didn't react, I wonder why, I think due to her job
I agree with every point of yours on Sona, you described her very well as
Calm Sherni, loved the title👍🏼

I completely agree with every thing you said. I just love how Sona's character has been handled so far. She's real and relatable, yet there's some thing about her that's very charming very adorable. She's indeed a Sherni because she handles life with so much guts and I just love her cool and calm demeanor, also she's level headed. she never loses her cool unlike some other characters, when she's needed to hold her mind and nerves together.

I was all clapping for her today how she didn't leave though her duty hours ends at 8, n to be honest it's not her responsibility to take care of Ishwari after that. Since Dev came back home n doctor also reached and declared Ishwari safe, she could've left then n there but no she stayed back.

I'm all Team Sherni, she character so far has given me no reason to complain, no major character flaws , just those little ones that makes her even more n adorable and endear her to me. She's well rounded lady , smart, no nonsense and with a lot of inner strength and integrity . She knows what she wants from life and she's ready to work hard and wait for it.

I never thought I'd become so much fan of this character, I started watching for Shaheer n Shaheer only or else I wouldn't have even given it a try. But now it's Dr. Sonakshi Bose who tethers me and binds me to the show.

Absolutely agree with you. What Ishwari thinks of her doesn't define who she is, I liked that how firmly and cleanly she told Ishwari that I never wanted this job, your son was the one who wanted to hire me so bad that he got me sacked from my old job, n if you've any problem with my salary then why don't you talk to your son ?? I never asked for this much salary. That did shut Ishwari up for a second or two and she had to rearrange her tactics. Atta girl ! 👏

But some times I think she's too good for her own good. 🤔
