The first time I wrote a post here was for Sunaina. I still remember the gloom here when I tried to break down her for all hating on her... Today again I write for her - so that I along with all of you can maybe understand her...
Before I start writing about Sunaina, I really do want to comment on today's episode. There were some super amazing scenes.
The beginning was nice. I liked how Gaj and Lalia did come to visit and how Shukla taunted and Veer challenged him. Finally, he's taking actions and solving matters and not just screaming left right and centre.
One reason I love this show is that it makes me relate to real-time people. Today, the phone conversation between Naini and Sunaina reminded me of my sister living in the UK and my mother's conversations. She tends to end up calling at the worst times and then expects to get all her questions answered, not understanding the emotions of the people actually going through something. So to most, I get it - looks like a significant scene, to me it seemed like the only outlet Sunaina had was Naini. She just let it all out on her daughter. You don't have to think before you talk to your kids. I don't look at it as anything else but a mother taking out her worries of one child at another one!
The house of Shukla's is divided. No food on the table and hunger strike speak volumes to the extent the house might eventually divide into. Does this mean the downfall of Shukla has slowly begun? Remains to be seen...
Loved bua today. What a superb actor! Her anger, her worry all were spot on. I was wondering if bua would come to her niece's aid, and she did. Like all of you, I loved the part where she beats him up! Only if she would have beaten Bela too... Of course, the curse will probably take its course, eventually! We'll probably have to wait and see what route this takes...
Finally on Veer. So even Veer has no idea when and where Radhay died. He didn't even bother asking Krishna ever. But then again, finally, he is using his brain, putting his energies and sources in finding a way out and not lashing out his anger at every third person.
A Mother's Plight!
There is a lot that I can say about her and yet I might not be able to completely explain her. You see I am not a mother. But I have seen mine, and I have my mother's mother, very closely.
I have always defined Sunaina as a mother. Her actions, her reactions, her fears, her smile, her anger - they only speak one word - motherhood. Being a mother makes you irrational. It makes you selfish. And it sometimes makes you look evil too - but at the end of the day, you are only a mother!
There was a time when Shuklain started treating Krishna as her own. She loved her. Although there was always a selfish aspect to love, yet she loved her. Yet, when Radhay died, the love turned into hate. We all saw how Shuklain reacted!
Sunaina is reacting as a mother. She knows her son. She knows the extent he can go to - and let's be honest since Krishna entered his life, he has been facing one problem after another. So whatever Sunaina did say to Krishna was not entirely false. I don't know what else to say except that Sunaina is a mother. She single-handedly raised both her kids and must have gone through a lot to make Veer a successful doctor. Yes, Veer was a support system he worked hard and reached where he is but it does not mean Sunaina had no role in making him who he is. It is all Sunaina's doing. And losing her only strength is fearsome. Who will look after Sunaina and Naini once Veer is punished? We all know how immature and childish Naini is. Sunaina is not wrong!
Which brings me to Sunaina being black, grey, purple or blue part... The problem is ITV has ruined us. If we like a character, they are then supposed to larger than life and correct ALL THE TIME - which is not possible in real life. I know I was the first one to react after reading the update, but then I took a whole day to think it through... also watching today's episode of YRKKH helped me understand our collective problem with Sunaina.
Since its ITV and we've hoped Sunaina will be a mother to Krishna, we thought or hoped or believed that Sunaina will sacrifice herself, or talk to them both and find a middle way out or do something larger than life - because that's what we have come to expect from positive characters. So I am glad none of that happened. Thank you, CVs for giving me a real mother. A mother who will even give up her own brother/mother/father/herself if the alternative means her child! A mother will sacrifice anyone when the alternative is her child!
So my only defence to whatever Sunaina is doing - is that she's a mother. She has lost the battle against motherhood. She supported Krishna, she loved her, she cares for her, she adores her, she worries for her, but when she has to choose between her child and Krishna - she'll always choose her son. So thank you CVs for giving me a real character who will not back their daughter-in-law for no real reason. That's not how the real world works!
Coming to the Sunaina Krishna scene, I don't know what route the CVs took. I don't even have the energy to predict. But there are only two possible routes. Let's put logic and maybe figure it out together
It's a dream
If so then it all makes sense. Sunaina considers all of this, which is justified, but then she also snaps out of it - understands that she's being selfish - also that no matter what Krishna says, Veer will bring her out of jail, and the truth will eventually come out... So she snaps out of the dream and cries...
The other possible route is that this really happens...
If this did really happen, then it means it had no real effect on Krishna. Yes, Krishna is a calm sensible logical girl and yet, when it comes to relationships she is as emotional as Veer. Her logic ends when emotions and relationships are concerned. I remember she ended up giving her fight against Shukla for Radhay, signed the divorced papers only for Lalia's health and treatment. She will give herself up if Sunaina has begged her to. But then the precap is misleading...
I don't know what CVs have in store for us. But I am sure it's going to be different... I hope so...
With the leap stories going around - I am assuming Veer will own up to his mistake and probably get some jail time. I guess its good. He made a mistake, he owned up to it, he held himself accountable. Good. I just hope Veer and Krishna's relationship survives and Veer just doesn't go back to his grumpy rude self. I hope his love for Krishna survives her anger.
