Aww...reminds me of my first day in I-F 😆 It's the first ever forum I've been to. If the subject is about kuruvi, the tamil movie, I still do not understand how our hero can fly in the action sequences and his opponents can't. Similarly one finds the explanation short when the hero beats up his opponents. They fly through windows. How is this possible? the songs are flat as well and provide as little new info as our national secret, the nuclear deal.

J, but the most important contribution of Kuruvi is that it disproved Newton's theory of gravity in the very first scene when Vijay splurts out of the manhole into the air with no jet propellor attached to him. Oh, that apple tree would have shrivelled and died in shame. (It's still there in Cambridge [UK not USA}, by the way). 😆 😆

India has a nuclear deal? Think you that Bush has heard about it? Which is why he is making so much noise that Indians eat far too much??? Using that as an excuse to invade India perhaps? 😉

You reminded me of that day when I slipped into a manhole in Mandavalli when I was living in gurukkal colony. That was not so funny, my thighs got scratched. It was remedied by violets applied to those thighs that got them repaired. Poor manhole. Now one has a different adjective for George that can't get published here.
When is Vijay going to do those artistic roles that Vijay Arora or Nasiruddin Shah did during the 70's? Would that not be a far cry from Kuruvi?

What a small world. Ok, there was a 5 bustand also at the end of the street. On the opposite side of the bustand there were 4-5 kadais. one had lungis standing out, there was a bakery and there was one that stank because they were always arachufying maavu. Then right across the street there was hotel Prakash.
At the end of Gurukkal colony, there was a wall. On both sides there were 4-5 houses. On the left hand side first house upstairs there was an ambi(2nd house?)upstairs KVN lived, his grand daughter Anu. Right opposite theirs there was this little kid who always needed to be escorted to St. Johns. His elder brother was a genius though. Below them was the advocate and his 4 daughters. On the end at the left hand side upstairs there was a guy called Raju. Ambi, Raju and this genius(Ravi?) all completed CA's. Any of this strike a bell? Were you from across that wall? My classmate Srini was there. Stupid guy, he always came first in the class. Nice bloke though.
