K, how about unflattering remarks about stars who are not even related to this article in any way? try topping that.😉😆😆Leena, I thought you handled that very well, actually. 👏 👏

btw, you said vijay in your post, i think it was ajith ditty was talking about not vijay.😊

Oh, I am confused now. I thought Ajith was too busy for the video shoot and Vijay and Maddy are taking part.

the documentary should be up on youtube or some other site surely. or else we can always ask ditty, the one & only source for all things related to surya & his family.😛😆😆

LOL, yeah. BTW, agree with you abt autism - I think it is not given much attention in Asian countries, very much like dyslexia. I hope your cousin is okay, I remember watching a docu on BBC on autism and the thing that struck me most was how talented these kids were in other matters - one lad for example was able to draw all the tall buildings in London with precision; it was totally awesome.

And btw, Sada was never approached to play any mentally retarded girl in any Mal film, Leena, I know more abt Mal cinema than some ppl here.

we all can ditty.😛

well ditty, if sada was approached to play a mentally retarded girl, i'm sure she would have done a good job because she is a good actress. having said that i've got nothing else to add from my side to this matter.😊 you don't get too riled up either, it's not worth it.😉

thank you karthikka.😳😳 honestly speaking, these posts of hatred against sada don't even make me angry. those posts are just SO sad, i only feel sorry when i read them.

oops my bad! i missed reading vijay's name in the article. this is why leena you should never skim through anything that hastily.😆😆

you are so right. in asian countries most people with these disorders aren't even given a chance to prove themselves. my cousin is doing great & he is currently taking pure science & additional maths for his 'O' level.😃 he is definitely smarter than most of his other normal peers & is smarter than me too.😆😆 people with these kind of disorders are actually hidden geniuses. like they say when god closes one door he opens another.😛

Remember the Rain Man? Dustin Hoffman was autistic but he could rattle off numbers....then I saw this docu on BBC and I was so impressed and touched.

Good, I am so glad that your cousin is doing well. Another problem is dyslexia, which is quite common but people do not seem to be aware of such a problem.

OK, Karthika, Leena and all others who r interested;here's the documentary; and I don't belive it, they've named the documentary 'Herovaa zerovaa';sounds like a children's show for me. Being a documentary which has Mani Ratnam, Rajiv Menon and Madhavan, one wud expect it to hv a really striking name, something more poetic. But ya, for the common ppl to understand, such a title seems good. 😃 And it's been made well.

Hope it serves the purpose for which it was made 😛

Thanks Ditty for the link.

It's a nice short film. For this film to be emphatic and the message to be a little more powerful, the Director (Priya) could have had the stars speak a little more on how education is important in the early years. Madhavan is less cinematic than the others, seems more convincing in his short role.

The guys look very simple yet stylish. Nice selection of clothes for the theme, by Nalini Sriram. Bad hair day for the girl though, seriously.
