ditty,i just read it in a magazine & u updated it here.i don't know an actress slapping a man is right or wrong but any common woman will do so if she undergoes such molestation.whatever the case may be,it is happened in the temple premises,thats too bad.

I've heard stories of many actresses being molested, one of them being Jyothika. I remember some website reporting a 'b*ob press' incident, after a press meet, and that guy got slapped too-by Surya. But this wasn't confirmed at all, so I haven't beleived it.

I don't understand how they could release that fellow. He has committed a crime and you do not need a complaint to proceed with prosecution.

well i used to share the same kind of sentiment too but these women aren't always what they portray onscreen. some men are just that way. they have to learnt the hard painful way. you know if you put a piece of meat in front of a insane hungry dog, it'll definitely jump on it. these actresses should learn how to protect themselves before these incidents happen.

they should never go to any place without the proper security. thank goodness... there have been no kidnapping or stuff like these in india.

in hong kong an actress was kidnapped by the traids & held captive for 2 weeks or so. she was released soon but after some time a partially nude picture of hers in which she seemed heavily drugged and barely conscious appeared on a magazine.😭

But she should have also given a Police Complaint. She probably feared doing that 'cos formal complaint might mean one or two trips to the Court later, which would cost her precious time and therefore, money.

I've read in a mag (I have to say it here now, my info is generally not from Tamil tabloids - simply b'cos of the fact that I don't have access to Tamil tabloids here, but only reputed Tamil mags available to subscribers online and the reputed mags themselves carry varied Kollywood news!) about the Jyothika incident too. I think it was after a media site's chat thingy (may be Galatta, but not sure) that she was surrounded by a mob and the mischief happened. But unlike Shriya's case no one was either identified or apprehended. When such a thing happens, I do NOT believe that it was done UNintentionally. Whoever that was, I really hope something happens to his hand/fingers, so he won't dream of doing this to any other woman, in his life 😡
It's one thing, when an actress does things with her consent and an other, when she's molested.

Most of us know, that Simran is quite short tempered and very brave, from various articles on her. This article was in Kumudam a while ago. Simran was in a village for the shooting of "Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi". There was a drunken villager who passed a nasty comment about her in Tamil, while she was resting on a chair, in between shots. Eye witnesses said that Simran literally jumped from her chair and slippered him. And when he started to run, she had chased and hit him with her sandal till he fell off. Later on, he was apprehended by the Police. There was also an interview of the villager who was apprehended and he realized his folly and apologized to her via the interview.
