Dreams were definitely due to those medications but what you dream or hallucinate probably have some connection with your subconscious mind...so maybe this might be related...

Right from the start SJ, makers were stressing about geetu's dreams and how she will find them coming true in different situations . I believe her dreams from now on will also play a major part in her revenge mission . They should explore it more ..

I'm waiting for this to happen 😉

Not all of her Abhi encounters were dreams. He came at regular intervals to confuse her and drive her crazy.
The hallucination drugs madereverse effect I think - to consider reality as dream and not the other way round.
That sequence of Abhi being stabbed was not her dream. It must have happened for real. That must have been the reason for the stab wound. There is a traitor in the Abhi camp, who's playing a game within their revenge plan.

I agree...maybe that traitor is Chhoti Maa or Munshiji or Rajveer... 😉

I read this somewhere on Internet that "Dreams carry more weight and meaning than our conscious mind when awake. 70% of dreams have secret messages"
^This seems to be true in Geetu's case.

She first dreamt about Priyam getting scared of certain voices. That happened for real.

Later on she saw him asking her to find Abhimanyu's murderer in a rather menacing way. Turned out that he was really insensitive and menacing to drive her crazy, even though she had only trusted him and tried to save him.

But I think the Abhimanyu being stabbed in the back dream was her own interpretation. She had just learnt about his murder and probably she was imagining how someone betrayed them and killed Abhimanyu.

The sandook wala dream probably hinted towards how she would be trapped by Abhimanyu in his plan and later on she would free herself.

@bold
I don't think this is her own interpretation...as he has a stab mark on his back...so probably he got himself stabbed...while Geetu was under the effect of those hallucinating meds to make her think that someone murdered him.

@blue
Maybe...lets see
