Why tantrik act repeatedly?

I just want to know that when it has been clarified by SJ very clearly that this show is not about supernatural stuff. ..then why we're being showed that tantrik act involving that lady and Chanda again and again. .It neither creates any mystery nor does it make sense when actually we're not dealing about superstitions and supernatural acts...
Any opinions?

I feel they're not really needed...

It's just done to hook the audience by adding spooky feel IMO, it did connect with the scenes so far like Rishab grabbed Priyam chocking life outta him the same time the tantrik lady asked Geetu to save his life... Despite of everything I would have loved if it was more of the suspense thriller setup then spooky thriller! I'm looking forward to see what happens after Rajveer gains consciousness!

Agreed, the desert lady pops out of nowhere. Only one time she made sense was when she meets Gitanjali in the desert caravan and warns her of some chal or chalava.
