Nausheen Ali Sardar, who shot to fame as Kkusum, is all set to make her film debut with Dr. Wajahat Karim's (who earlier made Soch) film Do Dilon Ke Khel Mein opposite newcomer Rohit. Shooting for this film is scheduled to start from the second week of October. The film also stars veterans like Dharmendra, Rati Agnihotri, Satish Kaushik and will be directed by debutante Akash Pandey.
Talking about her character, she says, "It is a tomboyish character which will be a lot of fun. My character is of a woman who hates all men and then meets this guy who's hilarious. The best part is that we have no villains and no tragedy. It is a fun film all the way."
She is definitely looking forward to it and adds, "I had consciously stopped doing television and I wanted to concentrate solely on films. I was negotiating with some filmmakers when I got this offer. It's a nice film and I am extremely glad about doing it." Incidentally, she was supposed to make her debut with Shadab Khan's (Amjad Khan's son) film but was unceremoniously replaced by Perizaad Zorabian.
This apart, Nausheen, who is also a popular face on the music video circuit, has just completed a music video. She informs, "Yes. It is a video by Arvinder and the song is a nice blend of ghazal and has nice meaningful lyrics. The song is Rangeen sa yeh pyar kisne dila diya and I play Arvinders's girlfriend in the video. It's a nice Punjabi party song and has been composed beautifully. The video is directed by Jayesh Sheth who also clicked my first portfolio. So, when he called me I could not say no."
She has earlier done videos like Ocean Queen with Remo, Pehle to kabhi kabhi with Altaf Raza and is getting back to music videos after a gap of almost three years "I had done another video with Jayesh earlier called Nikita. And now that I am not doing television, I have enough time to do videos."
Jayesh Sheth, the director of her video informs, "We were very confused as to who to take for the video and had many discussions at the T-Series office before we finally decided on Nausheen. I have known her for a very long time and I called her as she suited our requirement.
Chinni Prakash has choreographed the video and it is scheduled to come out sometime in early October." Sheth also said, "This is the first video with a strong theme but has been passed by the censors with a U certificate."
Hope no one else has already posted this.
