It starts with Mahi asking Kkusum to tell everyone who is responsiblr for Kshitij's death… Everyone is shocked… Abhay enters at the same time… Mahi asks her to tell everyone 'kisney Kumud ki ankhoon sey sapney cheen ker us me ansso bhar diye'… Mahi says that since Kkusum can't tell anything, so she will have to… She tells Kumud that the one responsible for her husband's death is her own sweet father… Everyone is extremely shocked… Mahi says that he was the one who had gotten you married to Kshitij but today he killed him… Sarla, Kali, and nakul are very shocked… Kumud asks Kkusum to tell her that whatever Mahi said is wrong… Kkusum screams that whatever she is saying is truth… Kumud is shocked… Kkusum says that all this was an accident and Abhay didn't do anything on purpose… Sakshi cries… Mahi taunts Kkusum and says 'wha Kkusum, sach bhi bola toh jhoot ka sahara ley ker'… Abhay goes and sits near Kshitij's body… He asks Mummy why uncle is lying down… He asks Kumud why she was crying… Sakshi gets mad and says that it all happened coz of him… She yells at Abhay and asks why he killed him… Aryaman steps up and says that they should leave since they are getting late for 'aatim sanskar'… Aryaman looks really upset… Kumud runs and asks them not to take him… dadi tries to control her….
Next Scene: Funeral
They show the funeral… Everyone looks very upset… Nakul is crying… Nitin hugs Aryaman… Nakul cries and says that he is not going to leave the one who killed his brother…
Next Scene: Abhinav's house
Kkusum is thinking how Kumud would be feeling right now… She thinks that after whatever happened, will she consider Abhay the culprit… then she says to herself that Kumud loves Abhay a lot and she knows what Abhay's condition is… Abhay is stting on the dining table… Kkusum goes to Abhay and asks him what the matter was… Abhay asks her why uncle was lying down, and why was didi crying… He says that the achi aunty was saying that he had hit uncle but he only did it because he yelled at my didi… Abhinav comes there … He looks a little worried… Abhinav tells Kkusum that Nakul was very angry and he has threatened that he would not leave Abhay, and he would send him to jail… Kkusum is shocked… She takes Abhay to his room… She comes back and asks Abhinav what would happen… Abhinav tells her that abhay's condition as of now would help them in the court but the problem is that he is improving day by day and he might be normal soon… He says then no one can stop him from going to jail… Kkusum says that she would not let Abhay go to jail at any cost… She says that she will go and explain to everyone that Abhay's mental state is not good…
Next Scene: Aryaman's House
Aryaman tries to explain to Nakul that Abhay's mental state is not right…Nakul says that it makes absolutely no difference since his brother was killed… He says that he swears that he will take Abhay to court… Dadi comes and says that Abhay should get punished for what he did… Aryaman tries to explain to her and says that it is not important right now to get the culprit punished but it more important to console Kumud who's life has become a punishment for her… Kumud cries… Aryaman says that Kumud life is all shattered now… Dadi cries… Kkusum comes there… Dadi taunts her and says that 'yeh lo, aah gai sambhalney wali'… nakul gets upset and says that how will she console her daughter when she herself made her a widow… dadi says that she is just here to remind them that they have lost their son… Kkusum cries… Kkusum goes to Aryaman and says that he knows that Abhay did not do anything on purpose… dadi says it doesn't matter how it happened… nakul asks her if she was feeling scared that her husband is going to be punished… nakul says that he can forgive him on one condition and that is if she brings his brother back… Kkusum cries… Nakul is very upset… Kkusum goes to sakshi and folds her hand in front of her… Then, she goes to Kumud and asks her to explain to her family… Kumud gets up and yells what she wants her to explain… She asks should she explain them to forget about their son's death considering it was someone's mistake… She says that she will explain it to herself that papa didn't do anything on purpose but how will she explain that Kkusum hid the truth from her… Kumud says that she was the one who told her that after getting married, all her relations were through her husband… She says that she lost her husband today and so she lost all the relations… She says that she is an orphan now… Kkusum is shocked… Aryaman and sakshi cry… Kumud says that she has come here as Mrs Abhay Kapoor, not as a mother… She says that when she is fulfilling her duties, then why is she stopping her… She says that she cannot explain anything to her family… Kumud rushes inside… Kkusum follows her… Kkusum asks her to listen to her… She says that Kumud knows whatever happened was not done on purpose… She says that she knows her father's condition… Kkusum pleads to her to explain to her family… Kumud goes to her room and locks her door… Kkusum cries bitterly and ask her to open the door… Kumud cries too… Everyone else go to their room as well… Kkusum comes in the garden… Kumud words echo in her ear… Mahi comes there and says that it looks like Kkusum has lost some battle… Kkusum asks her why she was there… mahi says that after all she is her sauten… she says that she was here to say sorry for her lost… mahi taunts her and says that her husband snatched her daughter's happiness and her own daughter has left her now… She says that who knows if abhay can be saved or not, but her family will not accept her now… Mahi says it was lot of fun to see her beg her own daughter… She says that even though she is her sauten, she forgave her once but her own daughter didn't think that she was capable of getting anything even though she begged… Mahi says that this calls for a celebration… She asks Kkusum if she would join her… Kkusum is shocked…Mahi laughs…
Next Scene: Nitin & Sarla's House- (Chawl)
Sarla is trying to console Kkusum… Nitin, kapil, and Nikita are present there… Kkusum says that she has completely lost her astitva… She says that she took Abhay away from them so that he gets better but she lost him… she says that Kumud also thinks that she is wrong and does not consider her as her mother… Sarla and Kkusum cry… sarla explains that Kumud is in shock so she is not able to understand… Sarla says that if darkness turns out to be too long, then brightness is not far… Kkusum says that she feels as if there would be no morning (brightness)… She says that this darkness is not outside but inside of her… Kkusum cries bitterly…
