in north india Diwali is celebrated cos lord rama returns from his 14 year exile in the forest..
in south india it is celebrated cos lord krishna defeated this demon call naragasuran..

In Sikhism...diwali wasnt really celebrated for religious purposes...but then when our 6th guruji (i think 6th) was released from jail by the kings...that day was Diwali...so then Sikhs also started to celebrate it as a religous festival....

i celebrate it the same as ppl in north india! ram returns from the 14 years of being sent 2 the forest! i remember my mummy telling me wen i was small! and i used 2 watch iton video!😳
