@Pavs.. if she is going to ask him to prove himself to her dad then I frankly support her. Getting HP's approval through emotional blackmail (running away) does not count. Also, if she asks him to make something of himself then again I am with her. Because he may, otherwise, resent her success someday. Also, Arjun is frankly lacking direction and is currently not balanced. Live is about more than love. And if you love someone then will taking the time change that? Its should not. My parents dated for 5 yrs before they married. My dad waited till he was financially stable enough and still they struggled for years before they were stable enough to have a child. And my dad didn't take a dime from anyone. For that i respect him immensely.

@anj.....i dnt agree tht he lacks direction..on the contrary i think she lacks balance nowadays n acts pretty immature...da bhag ke shaadi ka plan ws hers not his so she shud try 2 make arjun luk gud in frnt of baba's eyes...n arjun ws neva a spoilt brat living on his dad's money..he worked hard enuff 2 get his own identity..so it's unfair tht aro asks him to prove his mettle..he already has proved his worthiness,,,,,n abt he resenting her success ..tht cn be true at sm point of time but she shud nt assume things...she shud not assume tht she wil be firstly b successful n secondly hez already a successful business tycoon ....n actually i feel ri8 now both r pretty jobless..if arjun dsnt do worthwhile i dnt c even aro doing nythng substantial....so before she asks him 2 make something of himself she shud do the same

n abt ur second point..i agree dey both suffered becoz of arjun but her forgiveness came at a high price.. aprice which puni paid by leaving his dad, house, wealth, luxury et al...even she agreed tht jitna pyar tum mujhse karte ho itna koi kisiko nehi karta hain aur maine kya kiya..so his sacrifices hv diluted dos wrongs

@Pavs.. I agree with you... they both need to get their job/career situation worked out before leaping into marriage. That said (rightly/wrongly) there is always greater pressure on a guy to get it right financially before marriage. And right now her dad is clearly accepting him reluctantly - they both should desire his wholehearted approval. As for him being a successful tycoon - he was so when he was running his dad's business - now he is Karan's junior partner (a pitiable lacky).
