Arohi comes out of Arjun's office and thanks the fact that Bua gifted her a mobile and that too on her first day on the job, as otherwise, she'd be out of a job by now.
Arjun is on the phone when Arohi appears with a set of papers (dictated letter), but Arjun asks her to wait whilst he attempts to re-ring Salil but gets frustrated at the fact that he's unreachable. At that very moment, Salil appears with his hand on his cheek (ie. where Poorvi slapped him - an adorable scene! 😳).
Arjun attempts to discuss a matter relating to their music school in Mumbai, but Salil goes off on a tangent about being slapped by a girl - and the feeling being the best thing ever! Arjun looks towards Arohi and is perplexed that Salil has learnt of the *incident*; and so tries to make him see reason, whilst Arohi looks on amused. Eventually, Arjun turns to Arohi and assigns her a task - she is to select the best of the audition singing for him to check. Salil returns to reality, and as Arohi leaves, they share a *knowing* smile. 😉
Arjun turns to Salil, questioning his friend's sanity. Salil tells him that her slap wasn't a "slap" but rather a "touch" and the day he feels the same thing, he'll know he's in love too. At that moment, Arjun recalls Arohi's slap and recoils. He plainly states that only weak people can rely on such notions, and he, Arjun Punj, is not weak.
PRESENT INTERJECTION - Ganga asks Arjun as to why he hated women so much. He confirms that that was a question Arohi always wanted to ask him, but never did. Furthermore, it was a question which he himself didn't want to answer - an incident had taken place in his early life, which he has never been able to forget - a dhoka - after which he never trusted anyone, and becos of one woman, he hated all women (his mom maybe?! 🤔). Ganga asks how such hatred turned into love - the slap into touch. He explains it took a very long time, and she made him realise that there was someone who could question his principles. Ganga excitedly asks if they then became friends - but Arjun reminds her, that in order to learn of a story one has to hear it all, which is only done after each page has been turned one by one ...and so far, this was only the beginning of their hatred ......
Arohi happy at her given task - excitedly begins to listen to the audition'reels 'Arjun is passing-by and spots Arohi enjoying her task; he leaves looking annoyed.
In the evening, over coffee, Mr Mitthal questions DK's decision of making Arjun the owner of all his companies, not one remaining in his own name. DK explains that it is the one relation he trusts, one which is above all money ..his son. He continues to explain that his slight movement would make Arjun transfer everything over - but it won't match what he's done ...given his entire life to his son.
As Arohi prepares to leave for the day, she hands her bag to security to check, when Siddharth stops his bike and offers to drop Arohi home. Arohi tries to turn him down, but he is adamant. As they leave, Arjun, who alongside Salil, was watching them leave, comments that she must have *forced* him to give her a lift, Salil thinks otherwise. Arjun explains that he had kept him so as to compete against Arohi; but now she will use her *womanly-charms* and effectively destroy him. (jealous already my dear?! 😉😳😆).
Siddharth drops Arohi home; Bua and Antra are watching. They attempt to stop Siddharth from leaving; and in doing so, Bua begins her *interrogation* (ie. salary; family members; etc) leaving him feeling uncomfortable. Eventually, Arohi steps in, and allows him to escape!
Arohi and Poorvi talk in bed - Arohi asks Poorvi whether it's true that their kismet really holds the details of the "one" ..Poorvi confirms it, but stops short ..Arohi apologises for making Poorvi sad/remember old memories by her questions.
PRESENT INTERJECTION - Arjun explains that in spite of their different paths destiny was determined for them to meet ...yet now, even if they want to meet, they cannot. Ganga questions why not - all he has to do is ring her once. Arjun refuses to do so, but says that if she wanted to initiate they could ....Ganga is adamant that destiny still wants Arjun-Arohi to meet. However, Arjun cuts her short by reminding her that it's 7 O'Clock - her time to leave. She does so.
PRECAP - some men are out on their morning-walk including Arohi's dad ...they explain about Arjun's ruthless behaviour towards women, and wander how Arohi is coping. Arohi's dad wanders why Arohi hasn't said a word.
