Karan and Kritika were standing in the center of Karans balcony. There were lights dangling from the railing and walls surrounding them like a blanket casting a glow on them. Stars and a full moon was visible from the view. There were no honking or traffic noise heard...just the silence between them and eyes full of admiration speaking between the two. Hearts beating a mile a second nd punching the insides of their chests .He had never felt so nervous around her but whatever he wanted to do he knew it was going to happen then and there. After so much thought he had taken this step... now there was no turning back. If his heart had refused to do so...What was stopping him? Nothing. He took a deep breath breathing in her beauty and exaled his past mistakes and began before she could ask any questions. He already taken to long. He couldnt take the risk of waiting longer. Karan bent down on his knees the traditional way of proposing and looked up at her beautiful face that had became a rosy pink and and cast twinkly eyes which had made his heart thump and blood flow to his body faster then any cardio will ever do. This time he had no complaints!
Karan: tere baad bohut saari ladkiyon ke saath ghumta raha. But jahaan bhi gayya main tujhko sab main dhoontha raha. Ek dost bani...Meri "mummy" bani...par jitna bhi deny karoon wo sach nai badlega ki tu mera pyaar bhi bangayi. Kameena hoon par sirf tumhara rehna chahta hoon. He took out the diamond ring that rested in a red jewelry box from his jacket pocket and held it out to her opening the box creating a gleaming affect reflecting the light. Just as her smile did reflecting off his eyes. Finally he then released the words "puri zindagi mere jaise luche ki better half banogi?"
His heartbeats calmed down by the release of emotions. There was no nervousness of what will happen next, just the honest truth clearly written in his eyes.
