Scene182 Arjun's thought on his parents

Arjun cannot sleep or even lie down the entire night remembering his mother's face. His mother was unmarried, did not have siblings, her parents are no more. So he is her only living close relative and decides he will ensure justice for her at any cost. Arjun is devastated by the news that his mother was shot by police while trying to flee to meet him in an hospital. Arjun feels his mother lost her life not only because of police but because of him also. He feels guilty pacing up and down his hall the full night. He breaks down remembering the pain his mother underwent all alone first in jail and then getting shot by police. His mother looked from a good family, their house was big and 30-40 years back to have a big enough bungalow meant his grandfather was in a good job. His innocent mother had suffered so much she was what very young in the will she wrote property in his name she was 24 years old. That means she was may be 25 when she was shot-Arohi's age. He starts sobbing his mother died so young 25 years old, Arohi acts like a kid at 25 years old although she has so many people to take care of her. Billu whos is 24-25 acts so small he needs Arjun to handhold him on every matter.

At that age his mother was shot dead, put in jail, was tried for treason. Treason to country is very grave offence. When he was in jail once a person was arrested on treason charges. He was tortured so badly his screams did not allow Arjun to sleep at all. Did the police torture his innocent mother? Did they torture her badly using third degree methods? Arjun has tears flowing down his face continously. If all the persons who trapped her, put her in jail, tortured her and shot her come in front of him now he would not have taken PRS advice he would have killed them now only. When they have killed his innocent mother doesn't he have rights to kill them? Why does world have double standards? If police kill innocents why its not considered as murder? Why they roam scot free? And even if they are punished its only token punishment 3 years-5 years why? But no, in his mothers case he will ensure he goes till Supreme court his mothers killers have to get death sentence. If that does not happen Arjun will not keep quiet he will destroy them himself he decides in rage. They all must suffer like his mother in loneliness, in jail and then sent to gallows, eating that pest ridden food else he will destroy this world. But for them to go to gallows he has to collect solid proof very solid proof. He will from now on he has only one goal in life to get justice for his mother. He will not rest till that happens.

Arjun wonders-Who is my father? As per RPS his mother used to tell he was not hers means he had married already. Does he know his mother was pregnant? He has a son called Arjun. Does he know? His mother may have never told him. If he now knows who is Arjun will he accept? Will his step mother and his step siblings accept him? He has a criminal background an illegitemate child. If his father accepts will society and his relatives accept? Where is his father now? In India in chandigarh where? Why he did not help his mother in jail as he may have read of her arrest or got to know? Is it because his family and wife had objected to help his mom? And if he was in chandigarh why he never came and took Arjun atleast put him in hostel like Arjun did for Raj? Doesn't his father love him, want him? Does his father know he was there yet never bothered to take him home or leave him in hostel? And his step mother and other siblings. His father was married 30 years back so he may have siblings who are 25-30 years old for sure. Who are his siblings? How many brother-sisters he has? Will his step mother accept him if she knows he is her father's illegitemate son? Will his siblings love him and accept him? So many such thousand questions keep haunting his mind. He decides to find out in the neighbourhood and through police records what had happened with his mother.

well written update!
but i guess...at times like this,it would look good,only if arohi was with him!
i mean arohi is in talking terms with arjun,she should be there by his side through out!
'kitni mohabbat hai' is the title and we would like to like to see that also being justified along with the unfinished tracks in the show(of which you are doing a great job) :):):)

Scene183 Arjun gets to know his mother tortured in jail

He goes to meet Pandeji in police station the next day

Arjun: Pandeji, Namaste

Pandeji: Arjun, please come in. How are you?

Many other constables and inspector also greet him because he saved them from home minister's warth one day.

Arjun: Pandeji, i am looking for some information

Pandeji: Tell me Arjun, what information

Arjun: I wanted some details about an old case

Pandeji: Case?

Arjun: Yes Pandeji, sorry i cannot reveal you why i want the details now. This is a very old case Rukmini Devi 1981, i am not sure which station in Chandigarh it was filed. I wanted a copy of the case details if you do not mind

Pandeji: Definetly, give me a weeks time. I will search and provide a copy

Arjun: Thanks a lot Pandeji, you are great.

Pandeji laughs: Look whose talking, you saved our careers when we tortured you and you are calling me great

Old constable: Pandeji, how are you?

Pandeji: Mishraji, how are you? Sit down

Old Constable: Thank You. I was passing this way, i thought i will meet you old time sakes

Pandeji: So good of you Mishraji, Arjun this is Mishraji, he is 40 years my senior and retired 20 years back

Arjun: Namaste Uncle

Mishraji: Namaste beta

Pandeji: Mishraji, Arjun come we will go for coffee to a nearby hotel.

Arjun: No Pandeji, its OK

Mishraji: Come beta, its very good coffee. You will not regret and both pull Arjun to a hotel nearby

All three have coffee

Pandeji: Arjun, please tell the ladies name again the case, i will note down in my pocket diary

Arjun: Rukmini Devi, year -1981

Mishraji: Rukmini Devi?????

Pandeji: Yes Mishraji, Arjun wanted details of a case Rukmini Devi, 1981. Have you heard her name?

Mishraji gets upset and goes in thoughts

Arjun shakes him: Uncle, what happened? You know Rukmini Devi

Mishraji: Yes, i was posted to jail on duty for 5 years and during that time for 6 months she was in our jail- Chandigarh jail. She looked like a very good person to me poor girl. I felt someone had trapped her she was accused of treason.

Pandeji: Treason? And looks at Arjun

Mishraji: Yes, treason can you believe? Sometimes i think our court is really blind. She had given her outhouse on rent to someone and they had kept guns, bombs in her outhouse and ACP Kartar now DIG had arrested her. Poor girl would never addressed anyone in singular such a cultured girl. When the questioning was going on so intense she never used singular even for the police personnel who were torturing her she was saying Sir for even constables and police who were interrogating her. First time in life Pandeji I could not see that torture and felt bad and left the room. Her screams broke my heart and after torture when they left her in cell I got very upset, I had daughters of her age what if my daughter was trapped and tortured like that what if my daughter had no one to help her like that girl. But she was not accepting the charges, you know police they just want to dump the case on someone's head and solve it they have pressure from everywhere.

I went to her cell- she was not in condition to walk or eat from her hands or sit also after that intense torture. I told a women constable to feed her the food. But she could not have her face had swollen so badly. She only drank a bit of water that too in much pain. I could not take it any more and left for house.We had only 14 days custody in which we had to prove she was involved. In my heart I knew she was innocent all of us knew in that interrogation room that such a good, cultured girl can never be a traitor. But we had our duty to do to prove that she was guilty to make her confess before getting her to court. The weapons and files found in her house showed it. We had pressure from higher ups everyone to prove her guilty. Sometimes I regret joining the police force Pandeji, for duty what all you have to do. It scars your inside.

Mishraji stops he is feeling guilty may be, even Pandeji keeps quiet and goes into thoughts remembering Arjun's torture. Arjun has tears in his eyes and may break down badly anytime. Like he had thought his innocent mother was tortured. He by mistake touches the glass of water which falls on his pant. He gets up without speaking and runs to restroom and breaks down badly. His innocent mother was tortured so badly she could not walk or eat or sit. He is so strong physically a guy and he could not take police torture for one night. His mother was tortured for 14 days in police custody to get a confession. He sobs uncontrollably in the restroom. He cannot imagine the pain his mother underwent. He feels so upset so upset he can hear his mothers screams in his ears every scream and breaks down much more. Its 10-15 minutes by the time he gets control on his emotions and wipes his tears. He washes his face and goes out.
