I haven't really seen KDMHMD, I know only the basic storyline, and I started... umm.. 'researching' on Preet after falling in love with Sushant as Manav. And it was then that I caught up with MEET's story and became a MEET fan.

Pride and Prejudice has always been one of my most favourite books- I can read it all over again and again and again. And I absolutely LOVE the way you've adapted it in the setting of Kis Des Mein- all the characters seem to suit their roles perfectly. The progression of love stories of the two sisters are exactly suited to that in the story and their own characters Yes, Preet is no Darcy, but somehow his carefree nature, his behavior and desire to do exactly what he wishes to, his innocent yet slightly opiniated stand, getting away with his way all the time- everything sort of makes me feel that amongst the Kis Des characters, he is the right person for this part. Add to this his love for his family and brother, good heart (he doesn't think badly of even Heer and Meher or look down upon them with spite), his naturally innocent persona- a confused pampered guy puts him in an absolutely adorable spot! I'm loving Preet in this FF!

MEET truly suit the roles of Darcy and Elizabeth, especially cos in the serial too they helped Prem and Heer come together at one point (if I am not wrong). Similarily Prem and Heer are absolutely suited to the roles assigned to them- innocent, simple, romantic folks!

I love the way you've adapted it all, truly. All the encounters between Meher and Preet are so well thought out and entertaining. The camarederie between the Juneja siblings is something to look out for! All of Preet's one liners and Meher's dialogues are fantastic! Very clever work!

One more thing I liked is the way you've brought YOUR touch to the story- Indianised it as well. The whole of the Ashlesha cooking part was very well done!

Have to admit that I liked Kulraaj Chachi too... even in the book I liked Elizabeth's mother very much for some reason- fultooo entertaining character!
