Part 27
Prem went to garden. He sat in the swing. He ran his finger through his hair in anger. 'why she is not understanding me? I'm trying my level best to keep her happy but why she is not happy.' He kicked his feet on the ground. 'I'm hurting her again. I don't know how to express my love to her. she is not understanding my love for her. she was so loving but suddenly what happened to her?' he opened his mouth and little louder 'Heer, I love you more than anyone in this world.' He is confused about her behaviour. He walked restlessly thinking 'how to make Heer happy?' he sat in the swing with deep thought. 'I need to spend more time with her.' he said 'Heer, just give me two days after that I'll be with you always.'
Suddenly he felt angry on himself. He got up from the swing 'what I did?' he hit his hand hard on the tree trunk. 'I left her alone.' He cursed himself for talking stupid things to her. 'How can talk like this to her. She is everything to me.' He ran to their room.
He opened the door and saw Heer lying on the bed facing other side. He lay down beside her. She is sleeping. Her face missing her beautiful smile and expressed her sadness. Still her tears mark on her cheeks. She is hugging his picture tightly in her hand close to her heart.
He gently pulled that out of her hand. 'you don't need this when I'm with you.' he kept the frame on the bedside table. He hugged her from back and pressed his chest on to her back. 'you like to touch my chest.' he smiled.
He lifted her head and slipped his hand under her head. He kissed her cheek 'I'm sorry Heer. I love you.' He hugged her tightly. Still she is sobbing in her sleep. She is murmuring in her sleep 'Prem, hold me. I love you.' He kissed her forehead 'I'm holding you Heer. I won't go anyway.' she snuggled closer to him. He kissed her cheek several times and fell asleep.
Morning, Prem got up early thinking 'I have to finish all my works in this two days so that I can spend time with her.' he kissed her cheek 'I love you.' He jumped out of the bed. He took shower and got ready. He picked up his picture frame and inserted into her hand 'till I return you hold this. just for two days dear.' He kissed her forehead and cheek again. He went to office.
Morning Heer opened her eyes and searched for Prem. he is not next to him. She saw his picture frame in her hand 'so he didn't come to me in the night.' She felt sad 'he hates me' she repeated that several time and believed that too. She sat on the bed. She picked up the phone to call Prem to inform about her check up.
She threw the phone away when she heard same girl answering again. 'who is she? Why she always answers before Prem.' she angrily stared at the floor for few minutes.
She thought something and got out of the bed with a confident. She took shower and changed. Today she has to go to the doctor for check up. Prem know that but he didn't say anything about taking her to the hospital. 'he will come to the hospital if he really has little affection on me.'
Heer called Megher and asked her to accompany her to the hospital. Megher came in another 10 minutes. Both went to the hospital. Heer stomach is big and she struggled to walk. Megher helped her to sit in a chair. Both were waiting for doctor to call her in. Heer still searched for Prem thinking 'he may come'. But her hope faded away when she is called in by the doctor.
Doctor checked Heer 'everything is fine. You will deliver your baby in two days. So be ready. it can happen at anytime from t'row.' Heer thanked and went back home.
As soon as Heer car moved out of the hospital campus, Prem car entered the hospital. He ran to the doctor cursing himself for late. He met the doctor and found out that Heer came for check up and everything is fine. He decided to goet back home to comfort Heer but a call from client made him hurry back to office. He hoped everything change before his daughter comes to his life.
Megher dropped Heer at home. She helped her to have lunch and went home. Heer sat in her room. She looked at her stomach and smiled. 'At least you stay with me. Your father never bothered to spend time with me.' Tears came down her cheek. 'no you too won't be with me after two months. I has to struggle on my own without you and Prem. i'll be lifeless after that.'
She sat in front of the TV and started watching some channels randomly but her mind is some where else. She closed her eyes. She opened her eyes when she felt wet lips on her forehead. Prem kissed her forehead and sat next to her. 'Sorry Heer I was late. When I came there you already left.'
Heer gave a fake smile 'its okay. You may be having 1000 works.' Prem sensed her anger and decided to cheer her up. 'Heer, come I'll take you to the garden.' Heer 'no Prem I'm feeling very tired. I want to sleep.' she lay down on the bed. he sat next to her stroking her hair and kissing. Heer is enjoying his love but feared 'not going to lost for too long.'
Heer decided to try her luck. Playing with his fingers 'Prem, do you have girlfriend?' Prem kissed her forehead 'yes. I have. I found her now.' he smiled and kissed her cheek thinking 'you are my girlfriend. my life'.
Heer closed her eyes so she didn't see his happy face looking at her. She became sad. She snuggled closer to him possessively. She is thinking she may lose him soon. She fell slept in his protective arms even in her fear.
Megher is sitting in the couch last in her world. She didn't notice Preet entering the room. Preet sat next to her and kissed her cheek 'what is my wife doing? Seems to be lost in some other world.' Megher with a sad face 'thinking about Heer.'
Preet 'what hapeened to her? today you took her to the hospital for check up right? Is everything okay?'
Megher 'baby is fine but Prem didn't come to hospital today.' she looked Preet with a worried look 'he used to come to the hospital directly but today he didn't come till we return home.' She got up from the couch and walked to window 'when I went to pick up Heer , I noticed a sadness in Heer face.'
Preet 'did she told anything about contract?' Megher 'no but I think she is worried about Contract. She is in love with Prem but Prem ignoring her.' Preet got up from the couch 'can I talk to Prem regarding that.'
Megher 'you try but I don't think it will work out. Because she made her mind to leave.' Preet hugged her from back 'I'll talk to Prem. don't worry he won't leave Heer. I know he love her too.' Megher nodded.
Preet nuzzled her cheek 'Megher, Heer is going to be mother. Don't you want t.' he kissed her cheek. Megher shyly smiled. Preet teased 'oh blushing' he turned her towards him 'I have a plan.' Megher looked at him with confusion. Preet pulled out a flight ticket 'we are going to Switzerland for a week long.' He whispered into his lips 'for honey moon.' Megher pressed her lips on his. Preet surprised and responded with loving and passionate kiss.
