Chapter 23

Next morning prem was getting ready for the office he was standing front of the dressing table doing his shirt button he was about to put his tie on and then just on time he felt two warm hands on his shoulder and he turned around and saw heer prem looked at her she looked exhausted then he touched her forehead and he said "heer you still have fever I think you should take some rest" heer ignored him and she pulled the tie from his hand and she went closer to him and prem moved his hands to her waist and then heer did his tie and then prem placed a soft kiss on her forehead just then prem was kissing her on her cheek and she pushed prem away and she ran to the washroom, prem felt strange and he went to the washroom and saw heer vomiting he went near her and from the back he held her and then he helped her clean herself and then he lifted her up in his arms and laid her on the bed and he called the doctor also Prem phoned at his work and took a day off.

Prem was sitting next to heer and he was holding her hand after like twenty minutes the doctor came and she asked prem to wait outside the room so she could do heer's check up but prem said "doctor I cant leave heer in this state on her own I need to be with her" doctor said "Mr. Juneja im really sorry but I need to do her check up so you will need to stay outside" prem was annoyed and then he went outside the room.

After fifteen minutes the doctor came out and prem asked "doctor how is heer? Is she okay?" doctor gave him smile and she said "congratulations Mr. Juneja your are going to be a father heer is two weeks pregnant" prem was in big shock after hearing the word pregnant he didn't know what to say or what to do?, he smiled at the doctor and thanked her and then the doctor said tomorrow bring heer to my clinic and I will prescribe her some medicines" with saying this she left. Prem was standing outside his bedroom door and he didn't know how to face heer this was the first time in his life he felt awkward.

He opened his bedroom door and he saw heer looking straight at him he went closer to heer and he sat beside her and he took her right hand in his hand and he looked into heer's eyes and before he could say anything heer said "prem I'm so happy can you believe it that we are going to have a baby?" she said with joy tears in her eyes and prem hugged her and he said "heer today I'm so happy too that we are going to have a baby, you know at first I was scared that maybe you will not want to keep this baby but now I'm so pleased to see that you and me both want the same thing" they both hugged each other and then prem said "I love you heer" and heer said " I think I love you too" and then they both laughed, and then prem went to the kitchen to make breakfast for heer.

Prem made heer's favourite cheese toast and then they both fed each other and then prem and heer both went to the living room and they were watching TV and just then geet came in the living room and she said in one go in a worried tone "heer are you okay I just saw the doctor leaving so I decided to come and see if you are okay" heer smiled at her and she said "take a deep breath and don't worry I'm perfectly fine and guess what?" geet looked at her excitedly and she said "are you going on a holiday" heer looked at prem and she smiled at him and then she turned around and faced geet and she said "geet I'm pregnant" geet's jaw dropped and she fainted. Heer ran to geet and prem ran to the kitchen to get some water and he gave it to heer and heer sprinkled the water on geet's face and on her eyes and after like five minutes geet came to her senses and she got up and she hugged heer and congratulated both prem and heer. Than heer asked her " geet why did you faint" geet said " heer is just you having a baby I'm so happy for you but I'm just worried about the society you know you guys are not married yet and having a baby, over here people believe in marriage and they don't approve....." heer interrupted her and she said "geet babes you are acting like my mum I mean she would say the same thing if she was here, but you know what I am this sort of girl who does not give damn about people and the societies so chill I'm having a baby and I'm ready to face people" prem looked at heer surprisingly and he gave her a kiss on the cheek and then geet put her hands on her hips and she said " okay fine from today on I am going to act like a strict mom because I am going to look after you and the baby and I am going to be very strict on your diet so from now on you should only eat healthy food" prem and heer both said " YES MOM" and they all laughed and then kunal came into the living room and he was surprised to see them laughing and he said "guys am I missing something?".
