CHAPTER-5

Both of them smile upon seeing each other. He helps her stand and then removes his hands.

PREM: Heeeeeer

Just then Sid comes yelling "Mammmmaaaaaaa". He comes and stands in between both of them.

SID: Mamma dekho na kitne saare chocolates diya hai'.

Heer sees Sid and then Prem. Sid turns to see Prem there. He smiles and says

SID: Mamma yeh hai Prem Juneja aur buddy yeh hai meri mamma..

PREM: Heer.

SID: Prem Juneja... Aap meri mamma ko jaante ho?

Prem bends down on his knees so that he's same height as Sid. Placing his hands on Sid's shoulders he says

PREM: Aap ki mamma aur mein college mein saath mein pade the.. meri best friend hai.

SID: Sachi??

PREM: (smiling) Aap unhi se poochlo

Sid turns to Heer and Heer nods her head saying yes.

HEER: aur Sid beta... where are your manners??? woh aap se bare hain... unka naam nahin lete...

SID: but he is my buddy... unhoon ne khud kaha ke main unhe uncle na bolon...

PREM: haan main hi kaha... uncle se lagta hai main bohat old hoon... buddy sounds cool... kyon Sid???

SID: right buddy... (they high fived)

HEER: kaise ho Prem... itne salon baad...

PREM: i am fine... haan bohat time ho gaya...

SID: (Sid cut in their conversation)Woww. aap mama ke best friend ho... Tab toh aap mere papa ko bhi jaante hoge na???

Heer was shocked when Sid asks prem.

PREM: Haan jaanta hoon...Mein toh aapki mamma aur papa ki shaadi bhi attend kit hi..

Gayatri comes there. She feels happy to know that Heer was Prem's friend. Before Prem gets a chance to talk with her she asks Gayatri for permission to leave. Gayatri agrees and she asks Prem to drop her but Heer refuses saying the cab is ready outside. Gayatri goes back while Heer and Sid walk out. Prem stands there rooted to the spot. He couldn't believe himself he had seen her after six long years. Sid turns back and waves him which causes him to smile.

Gayatri calls Prem for dinner and then she tells him how committed Heer is when it comes to work. She then tells her encounter with Sid telling him that she has asked Heer to get him with her everyday. Prem goes back to his room and change. He goes and stands near the window thinking about Heer. He feels happy that at least she's happy in her life with Sid and 'Rajveer'. It hurt him thinking about Rajveer and then all of a sudden a question pops up in his mind'.why was Heer doing this job? As far as he knew Rajveer had his own firm and was flourishing in it. Did things change in these five years? He was confused and worried a lot. He knew that he has no right to interfere in her life but still for him she was always more than a best friend. He decided to talk to Heer the next day.

Heer and Sid come to their flat. Heer feeds Sid and then make him sleep. She changes her clothes and then tries to catch some sleep lying on the bed but sleep was the last thing she had on her mind. She has seen him after six long years. She felt a tug in her heart seeing his eyes. She felt the pain in his heart which was visible through his eyes. She gets up from the bed and walks over to the window watching the moon. There were a lot of questions popping in her mind for which she had no answers but the question which was killing her most was what if Prem comes to know about her past.

Next Morning

Prem was at home as it was a Sunday. Lalit, Gayatri and Prem were in the hall discussing the guest list. Heer comes in with Sid. Gayatri asks Heer about some plans and then both of them leave to see the work going on. Sid comes and sits beside Prem.

PREM: Good Morning Sid..

SID: Bad Morning..

PREM: Bad? Par kyun?

SID: Aaj mamma ne promise kiya tha woh mujhe ghoomne le jaayegi par kaam..

PREM: Ohh.. so sad..

SID: (sadly) Haan..

PREM: Ek kaam kar sakte hain..

SID: Kya?

PREM: Mein tumhe bahar le jaa sakta hoon..

SID: Sachi..

PREM: Muchi..par uske liye tumhe pehle tumhe kuch karna hoga

SID: Mujhe kya karna hoga..

PREM: Hmm tumhe yeh sad se face pe smile lana hoga..

Sid gives him a sweet smile.

PREM: Chalo ab chalte hain..

SID: Mamma.. unse bhi tou permission lena hai'

PREM: Arre mein toh bhool hi gaya mujhe bhi apni mamma ko batana hoga na chalo..

They go to the garden outside where Heer and Gayatri were supervising the preparations.

Prem and Sid see that their mothers were busy in work turned to the other side. They see each other and then shriek together'

PREM, SID: Mamma

Both Gayatri and Heer turn back shocked to see their sons giggling.

HEER: Sid yeh kaisi mazak hai..

GAYATRI: Prem tub hi..

PREM: Ma woh.. woh..

SID: Kya hum dono bahar ghoomne jaa sakte hain.. He asks catching Prem's hand.

PREM: Ma ghar mein bait kar bore ho rahe hain toh mein ne socha..

HEER: Sid mein ne tumse kaha tha na mein tumhe shaam ko bahar le jaoungi phir'

Prem cuts Heer

PREM: Heer.. Sid ne nahin mein hi usse poocha tha..

GAYATRI: Heer jaane de na..ghar mein bait kar kya karenge..

HEER: Aunty ji Prem Sid ko sambhal nahin payega.. woh'

PREM: Heer tum chinta mat karo mein Sid ka khayal rakhoonga'

HEER: Mein jaanti hoon'..mera matlab hai yeh bohut shararthi hai'.

GAYATRI: Heer bacha hai.. shararat abhi nahin toh kya meri umar mein karega.. jaane do usse..

Heer couldn't say anything. Prem and Sid go to game land first where he helps Sid play various games and then it was lunch time so Prem takes him to a hotel.

Prem checked the Menu card and called the waiter. Sid was also trying to read the Menu, Prem smiled at his cuteness, the way he was spelling each dish was really adorable. The waiter came and asked what would they have.

"Chicken n cheese burger with no green chillies'", Sid and Prem said at the same time. They looked at eachother and laughed.

PREM: wow' we ordered the same thing'.

SID: aap ko pata hai buddy' I love chicken n cheese burger'

PREM: mujhe bhi bohat pasand hai'

SID: main orange juice bhi loon ga sath mein'.

PREM: arey yahan pe bhi same same choice'

SIA: wow' this means' hum best buddies hain' tabhi tou hum eek jaisa khana pasand hai'

PREM: right you are'. (Then he turned towards the waiter and asked him to bring the order)

Prem and Sid chatted and had fun till the waiter served their food. Prem asked about him about his school and friends, Sid also asked many sweet childish questions from Prem and Prem was enjoying Sid's cute conversation.

The waiter placed their food in front of them.

SID: hmmm' yummy' (sid said as he took in the aroma of burger)

PREM: haan' bohat maze ka lag raha hai' so what say buddy??? Shall we attack???

SID: YES!!! (Sid said aloud and took a bite from the burger)

But as soon as he swallowed it he started coughing and his eyes became all red and water started coming out of them. Prem hadn't started eating yet, he instantly left his seat and reached near Sid. He gave him a glass of water.

Sid's condition was very bad he was constantly sneezing and coughing, Prem didn't know what to do. He made Sid drink some water and then started rubbing his back so that he feels better. But nothing seemed to be working, suddenly Prem thought of an idea and put a spoon ful of sugar in his mouth. Sid's condition got better after about 15 minutes, Prem gave out a breath of relief. Prem cleaned Sid's face which was full of tears.

PREM: Sid beta' aap theek tou hona??? (he asked worriedly)

SID: ab theek hoon buddy' (he tried to smile)

PREM: kya hoa tha aap ko?

SID: main ne tou green chillies dalne se mana kiya tha waiter ko'. Phir bhi usne burger mein dali' main jab bhi green chillies khata hoon mere sath yunhi hota hai'

Prem was shocked to hear this.

PREM: tumhe allergy hai green chillies se????

SID: haan' aap plz Mamma ko mat kehna meri halat ke bare mein'. Warna woh mujhe kabhi aap ke sath dobara nahin aane de gi'

PREM: tum jab bhi green chillies lete hi aisa hi hota hai????

SID: yes buddy' aap baar kyon poch rahe ho??? (Sid was a bit irritated now)

PREM: ajeeb baat hai' even I have the same problem'

SID: ab ko mirchi allowed nahin hai???? Acha iss liye aap ko pata tha ke sugar khane se mujhe acha lage ga'

PREM: haan' main bhi green chillies nahin kha sakta'

SID: ek aur same same baat' (Sid laughed)

PREM: chalo main dosra burger order karta hoon'

Prem ordered again and instructed the waiter to be careful this time. They were waiting for the food when Sid asked Prem.

SID: buddy aap mere papa ko bhi jante ho na???

PREM: haan' main ne kaha than a' main aap ki mamma papa ki shaadi mein aaya tha'

SID: main bilkul apne papa ki tarah dikhta hoon na' (Sid stood up and asked)

PREM: hmm' nahin mama se zyada milte ho' (Prem said as he didn't find much resemblance of Sid and RAjveer. He hadn't observed RAjveer very keenly; he just saw his glimpse on Heer's marriage day so he couldn't say whether or not Sid resembled him)

SID: no' mama says' main ek dum apne dad pe gaya hoon' (Sid said proudly)

PREM: acha tou phir gaye hoge'

SID: buddy aap batao na mere papa ke barey mein' woh bohat handsome hain naa???

PREM: (he was bit shocked at how Sid was asking him about Raj) haan yaar handsome hain tabhi tumharoi mama ne unhein pasand kiya'. Aur mujhe nahin' (he said the last line under his breath)

SID: kya kaha aap ne???

PREM: nothing'

SID: mere papa ka business bohat bara hai naa???? Tabhi woh itne busy rehte hain'

PREM: haan bohat bara business hai tumhare dad ka'

SID: aap aur kuch batayein na' mujhe papa ki baat sunana acha lagta hai'

Prem was now really very surprised. The way Sid was asking questions about his dad was very unusual. Prem failed to understand why the kid looked a bit sad when he talked about RAjveer.

Finally humne update kar diya..
i hope ab hum kisike gun point pe nahin hai
