PART 16

Next morning, Preet booked the tickets to India for the evening. They wanted to go home and share their happiness with everyone. Preet did all the packing even after Meher's protest. She was scared that he will make a mess but to her surprise he did the packing very efficiently. He had learned some manners through the years from Meher but sometimes he likes to make a mess intentionally to bug Meher. He loved to see her red with anger.

Preet told her that Meher will not do work from now and she will rest completely. Meher knew she couldn't argue with him on this as Preet did the same thing when she was pregnant with Gungun. It made her happy to see her husband taking care of her so much.

Preet and Meher arrived in India the next day and it was Afternoon in India. They entered the house when everyone was having lunch.

Prem(he sees them coming through the front door): aray Preet Meher! tum dono itni jaldi kaisay aa gayay?(the whole family looks towards the door and gets confused how come they arrived before time)
Heer(she gets up and goes to Meher): Meher kya hua sab theek to hai? tum log itni jaldi?
Preet(smiles): Bhabhi sab theek hai. app andar to anay dain!
Heer: oh haan.andar aao(preet and meher leave their luggage and walk towards the dining table)
Bauji(stands up): Meher beta sab theek to hai? tum log to parson anay walay the na. Is Preet ne tujhe tung kia kya?(hits Preet on the head and Preet fixes his hair. he looks at bauji angrily for messing his hair)
Meher(laughing): Nahi Bauji. Preet ne mera bauhat khayal rakha.
Preet(smiling widely): dekha main apni Meher ka kitna khayal rakhta hun!(feeling proud)
Prem: acha tu yeh sab chor yeh bata tum log jaldi kyun ayay?
Preet(smiling): Woh...Bauji app phir se Dada bannay walay ho!! aur main Papa!! Meher pregnant hai.(everybody gets really happy listening to this and they all come to hug Meher.Meher blushes)
Prem (hugging Preet): Preet kitni khushi ki baat hai! hum dono aik saath dusri baar baap bun rahay hai!(everyone looked at Prem. he felt embarrassed for blurting out the good news. Heer told him about her pregnancy yesterday and she told him not to tell anyone until Preet Meher return. but Prem couldnt keep this happiness inside him any longer)
Bauji(confused): aik saath dusri baar baap? (goes towards perm and whispers in his ear)prem beta tum dono kaisay baap banogay? Preet baap bannay wala hai phir se aur Meher maa. Tu nahi!
Prem(smiles): bauji app bhi kya. Woh Heer bhi pregnant hai(blushes)
Preet(hugs prem): Congrats PB!! (notices prem blushing) aray PB app aise sharma kyun rahay ho?(Prem hits him lovingly. Prem was experiencing all this for the first time as he had missed Chahat's birth due to the separation between him and Heer)
Maa: Preet kyun tung ker raha hai Prem ko! Aj main bauhat khush hun. is ghar main to jaisay khushiyon ki barsaat ho rahi hai(everybody smiles widely)
Bauji(moves towards heer and meher and puts his arms on their shoulders): Main to bauhat khush hun main phir se Nana bun raha hun!
Preet(confused): Ehhh app nana kaisay banogay? app dada banogay!
Bauji(hits his head): Meher aur Heer meri betiyan hai to main Nana bana na!
Maa: aray Nana banay ya dada aik hi baat hai na! chalo app Nana aur main Dadi .ab to khush na tu Preet?( Preet smiles and hugs his maa)
Prem: yeh sahi kaha Maa app ne!
Kuldi: Maa ab to yeh dono apni biwion ki sewa kerne main lag jayenge.Yaad nahi pichli baar Preet kaisay pagalon ki tarah Meher ka dehaan rakh raha tha. ab to yeh dono gayay kaam se! kyun sahi kaha na Heer aur Meher( they both blush and everybody else laughs. they all knew Preet and Prem would go crazy now after their wives and their baby)
Kiran jiju: Harman aur bauji, ab office hum teenon ne hi sambhaalna hai aur ab yeh dono ghar sambhaalaingay!(everybody laughs).
Maa: acha hai na apni biwi aur bachay ka khayal rakhaingay. is samay pati ke pyar aur saath ki sab se ziada zaroorat hoti hai(Preet and Prem look at Meher and Heer lovingly and grin. they were going to take advantage of this they thought)

The whole family sat down to have lunch together. Preet and Prem fed Meher and Heer a lot of food. Everyone got busy with the day and Preet and Meher went to their room to unpack and rest.

On the way to the room, Preet grabbed Gungun too.

Preet(entering the room with Gungun in his arms): kaisi hai meri princess? mama papa ko miss kia?(gives her a kiss on her cheek)
Gungun(returns the kiss and talks in broken hindi): maine app dono to bauhat miss tia! app mujhe tahin chor te nahi tana.
Meher(kisses Gungun): tahin chor te nahi jayenge meri jaan!
Preet(He sits on the bed with Gungun and makes Meher sit too): app ke liye aik surprise hai!(Gungun gets excited) app ke liye aik choti si behan aayegi.
Gungun(she gets really happy): tahan hai woh?
Preet(laughs): abhi nahi! thoray time baad.
Gungun(gets upset): mujhe to abhi tahiye!
Meher: gungun beta, sabar ka phal meetha hota hai na. app ko thora wait kerna parega.
Gungun(she hugs her mama): I love you mama
Meher(hugs her tightly): I love you too beta
Preet(feels left out and pretends to be sad): nobody loves me?
Meher and Gungun(they both look at him at the same time and hug him): We love you too(Preet hugs them back tightly. He had been missing his daughter so much he realized and now he couldnt wait to have another angel in their lives)
Meher(still hugging): aur Preet tumne aisa kyun kaha ke behan ayegi?
Preet: kyun ke mujhe tumhari jaisi cute si beti chahiye(pinches her cheek)
Meher: nahi! hamari aik beti hai aur ab mujhe beta chahiye jo bilkul tumhare jaisa ho(she pinches his cheeks and hugs him tighter)
Preet: acha theek hai is baar beta hoga bas.
meher(confused): is baar? matlab?
Preet: Meher, mujhe to poori cricket team chahiye. to is baar beta ho gaya to koi baat nahi. hamari aur betiyan ho jayengi!
Meher(hits him lightly): cricket team?? 11 bachay(her eyes widened) Preet tum pagal ho gayay ho(Preet laughs)
Gungun(she interrupts their conversation which she was not able to understand and gets off the bed): main chahat didi to bata ter aayi(she runs out of the room)

Preet and Meher smiled at her and remained in each other's arms.

In Chahat's room, the two little girls were sharing the news their parents had given them.

Gungun(sitting beside Chahat on her bed): Chahat didi app to pata hai papa teh rahay the meri ait behan ayegi.
Chahat: Gungun meri mama bhi keh rahi thin ke mera aik chota bhai ya choti behan aayegi. aur papa ne yeh bhi kaha hai ke hamain apni mama ko ab tung nahi kerna chahiye.to tum ziada shaitaani nahi kerna.
Gungun(like a good girl she nods. There were only two people Gungun would not trouble that much and they were her parents): theet hai.
Chahat(smiling.just like Heer she was giving advices to her little sister): unka bauhat khayal bhi rakhna hoga.
Gungun(nods again happily): theet hai didi. main mama ta bauhat thayal rathungi.(after talking, both girls started to play with their toys happily. they were too happy today to fight over toys)

Back to Preet and Meher's room.

Preet(moving Meher away from him): chalo Meher ab tum lait jao. flight ki wajah se tum thak gayi hogi.
Meher: Preet main nahi thaki.
Preet(he makes her lay down): Mujhe kuch nahi pata. tum rest ker rahi ho maine keh dia!

Meher laid down and Preet sat beside her. He was stroking her hair slowly to make her fall asleep like a baby. Meher looked at him and then laid her head on his lap. Soon she went to sleep.

After an hour Gungun also came in the room and slept on Preet's lap. Preet opened his eyes and saw his adorable daughter sleeping. He gently put his arm around her to protect her from falling from the bed. The whole family slept through the day like that.

Later at night, Preet and Meher woke up to have dinner. The whole family had dinner while they discussed about Preet and Meher's trip and about the future.

After the dinner, Preet made Meher sleep again while he stayed awake doing some work. After finishing his work, he came to the bed and laid down beside Gungun who was sleeping between Meher and Preet now.

It was morning and Preet heard some knocking the door. He quickly got up from the bed before Meher woke up. He opened the door and saw little Chahat standing there.

Preet(confused why Chahat was at his door so early and waking them up): kya hua Chahat?
Chahat(crossing her arms): Chachu, subah ho gayi hai aur aj app aur papa sab ke liye nashta banayengay.
Preet(confused): main aur PB? laikin kyun?
Chahat(hitting her head lightly with her hand): uff ho. app ko kuch khayal hai Meher massi ka?
Preet: haan bauhat khayal hai!
Chahat: to phir app unse kaam kerwayengay?
Preet(he shakes his head in a no): Nahi
Chahat: to phir app jaldi kitchen main ayay. Papa app ka wait ker rahay hai nashta bananay ke liye.
Preet(he didnt know what to say. he didnt want Meher to work so obviously it meant that he had to cook today, with PB): Theek hai beta app jao. main thori dair main ata hun.

Preet went to the washroom and had a shower. He quietly came back in the room in his towel and found Meher and Gungun awake on the bed.

Preet(goes near Meher and kisses her cheek near her lips while placing his hand on her stomach): Good-morning Mrs. Preet Juneja!
Meher(smiles): Good-morning Preet.tum itni jaldi uth gayay?
Preet(goes towards the cupboard to take out his clothes): haan ab say main jaldi utha karunga aur tum meri tarah aaram karogi(he turns around and gives her a smile and she smiles back)
Meher(getting off the bed.she walks towards Preet): lao Preet main nikaal daiti hun kapray.
Preet(moves her to the side): Meher maine kaha na ab tum bas aaram karogi. tumhe samajh nahi aati aik dafa main!
Meher: ok baba.main bas aaram karungi. Happy?
Preet(he takes his clothes and pulls Meher's cheeks and enters the washroom to wear clothes): very happy!

Preet wore his clothes and went downstairs in the kitchen to make breakfast with Prem bhaiya and he also took the big paper he had been working on last night. Meher was getting herself and Gungun ready.

Preet(entering the kitchen): Goodmorning PB!
Prem(delighted to see Preet): Preet! shukar tu aa gaya. mere to samajh nahi aa raha kya karun. subah se dus baar Heer apna mind change ker chuki hai usay khana kya hai!
Preet(laughs at his brother's state. It was his first time experiencing this. Preet experienced this some years ago already. Prem gives him an angry look and he stops laughing): PB app tension na lain. aise time main aurtain aisa hi kerti hain. abhi to app aagay aagay dekhna kya hoga.
Prem(scared): Preet yaar tu mujhe dara mat!
Preet(he takes out the big paper he had brought from his room and starts to put it on the wall with some tape): PB app daro mat. aisa lag raha hai bhabhi nahi app pregnant ho.
Prem(ignores his comment and looks at the big paper confusingly): Preet yeh kya hai?
Preet: PB yeh Meher ka timetable hai ke pooray din usay kya kya khana pasand hai aur usay kya kya khana chahiye
Prem(confused): tujhe kaisay pata Meher ko kya khana hai? Heer to har thori dair baad kuch aur maang rahi hai.mere to samajh nahi aa raha kuch bhi.
Preet(laughing): PB samajh aa jayega. mujhe bhi pichli baar bauhat time laga tha.mera to app se bhi bura haal tha. u know Meher. she can get very angry and violent at times(Preet feels embarrassed. Prem looked at him sympathetically remembering how Preet handled Meher during her 1st pregnancy. He was happy that Heer was the calm one between the two sisters.)
Preet: thoray dino main app ko pata lag jayega bhabhi ko kya pasand hai khanay main is time par aur unhe kya khana chahiye aur kya nahi woh app doctor se pooch laina. maine is timetable main yehi sab likha hai Meher ke liye. (Prem was listening to his brother very carefully)
Prem: thanks Preet. tu nahi hota to mera kya hota.
Preet(feeling proud.raises his hand and looks up): wohi hota jo manzuray khuda hota!
Prem: acha ab shayari chor. khana banatay hai warna Meher tujhe aa ker bailan se maregi(Preet feels embrrassed and both brothers laugh)

With the help of the servents, Preet and Prem were able to make a decent breakfast of choice of their wives. The last thing they wanted to do was to disappoint their pregnant wives and make them angry.

Hey!! it's Sushant's(Preet) Brithday today!!(according to Canadian timings it starts now😆) HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSHANT!!!❤️ So this part is dedicated to Sushant thanks to him you got an early update so please wish him😊(I know everyone is upset that kis desh is ending, even i am, i hope it doesnt, but lets not forget Sushant who gave us Preet and wish him) He has done a great job as Preet and is doing a great job as the main lead, Manav, in Pavitra Rishta 👏 ⭐️. He works really hard and that is visible in his acting.May you get have a healthy, happy, successfu, and satisfied life Sushant. Keep smiling(oh i love his smile so much😍 and his eyes 😍 oh i love everything about him😳 Stay safe. May all your fair wishes come true!!

Back to Part 16. so how is it? please please comment. I dont know how this part is😳 I tried my best to make it cute and funny. I have more ideas so will post the next part next week maybe. I have midterms coming up😔
