I guess we shouldn't be expecting much. I don't think we'll see more of Prem-Heer (Harshiti). I guess just that one act they were doing. I'll only watch the epi where Harshiti will be shown.

Star Diwali: Rishton Ki Mithas is a Diwali special musical which will bring together the entire Star Parivaar. But this time they're joined by a host of special guests- Phuljadi- the naughty maid who has a penchant for gossip, Gannu- the bambiyya driver who who is Phuljadi's partner in crime, Phatakewala- who has a pataka for every Parivaar member and Sutli Bomb, the petty thief with a heart of gold.

This 10 episode series will each showcase a Parivaar celebrating Diwali leading into song and dance!

Come join us as Phuljhadi and gang take us into every Parivaar this diwali where your favourite characters- Akshara, Naitik, Ragini Sadhana, Bebo, Alekh and Ranvir will welcome Salman, Alisha, Siddesh from Dance India Dance, Aditya and Natasha from laado and a host of comedians and television stars into their homes!

Grand Opening: The Grand Diwali opens with the song Mela Dilon Ka Aata Hai with popular faces from Star Parivaar. This will lead into all the families coming together to celebrate Diwali.

Akshara ki pehli Diwali!
Akshara and Naitik the golden couple of television celebrate their first Diwali together. Akshara and Naitik to play hosts as the entire Parivaar is invited for a grand Diwali Mela. Like in Star Parivaar we had a common man who knew everything about the
Parivaar... here we will have a character called "Phooljadi" who is a gossipy and naugty character and creates confusions and controversies at the Diwali mela.

Ranvir and Ragini
In this festival of togetherness Rajvanshi family is going through separation. Ranvir wants to resolve his fight with Ragini. Angad, Sara and all the elders of the family persuade Ragini to attend the Mela. At the Mela Ranvir and Ragini unite when he apologizes to her and gifts her a diamond.

Laadli in the Kitchen
Bebo has been asked to make a grand Diwali feast all by herself! Never having done all this alone Bebo is very nervous and calls Akshara but Akhsara is herself busy with loads of work in her sasuraal. Her loving husband Amrit comes to her rescue.
Now Bebo has only one worry ' her friend Bhakti is going through stress in the Nanavati family.

Bhakti's Bhakti
The traditional laxmi haar is missing in the nanavati famaily and Bhakti is being blamed for the same. While all the Jethanis conspiring against her, Bhakti's faith in ladoo gopal helps her to find the haar and reinstate her innocence. Bhakti and Mohan will be going to the Mela, Bhakti is thinking about Dhaani who is longing to be with Amber on Diwali.

Dhaani's celebration
Dhaani wishes she could be the one planning the Diwali celebration like Sarla. Seeing Dhaani so dejected, Amber with the help of Ranvir and Angad plans a small celebration just for the two of them. He takes Dhaani to the Maha Mela to meet the rest of the Parivaar! On the other hand, will Bela and Birju manage to meet each other at the Diwali Mela?

Birju & Bela meet in the Mela
Birju and Bela want to spend Diwali together. Birju sends her a note asking her to meet him, through Naitik but Bela is stuck with her mother who asks her to attend a Puja. At the mandir, Bela's friends sneak her out while her mother is busy with the puja. Sadhana is waiting in the car to take her to the Mela. She finally meets Birju and celebrates Diwali with Rani, Yudhistar, Heer, Prem & Naitik. It is here that Naitik tells her about his Diwali surprise for Akshara.

Naitik surprises Akshara
For the first time Akshara's not with her own family on Diwali. Added to that, she has to follow the stringent rituals and traditions of the Singhania family. On the other hand Varsha is also missing Akshara and wishes they were together to celebrate the festival. Varsha plans a surprise visit to Akshara with Naitik's help and the two families come together once again to celebrate Diwali.

Maha Laxmi Pooja
The Grand Diwali closes with the Maha Laxmi puja where all the families of Star Parivaar will come together to perform the Maha Aarti.
