lol..well I have attended many hindu weddings and sangeets but have never seen drinks and all there..I remember how once we had a bachelor party of some relative who had kept drinks in the party and how it became the hot topic for everyne to discus..lol..the people of my society dont approve of drinks in the party or moreover they dont approve of drinking..

Me too southindian so no idea....But riks and purvi have given appropriate explanations but I guess Suhana is also right ....this Sangeet was held in a hotel I guess...

plus I think serving drinks for wedding functions will depend on the society you live in...if it is acceptable in society people might serve drinks

Yes punjabis and northindian wedding they do have bar counters and non veg..But that was the hotel area nansy where sangeet was happening so he was in resto ...
