the mysterious case of the paint that could move by itself is my favourite so far. 😛 It was a lovely reading!

You almost convinced me that paint could move by itself! 🤣 I liked the family scene. Nearly everyone had something to contribute either by word or action. 👍🏼 I love how you used beta whenever possible. It's so adorable!

It's remarkable the way you coin words to make beautiful sentences.... 👍🏼 Here are my favourites that I'd like to share:

* "preet, whose knee jerk response to the cry of a child ever since his second daughter was born was to offer food as a pacifier, whipped up a banana, peeling it with a speed unseen in human history." 🤣 Aaah Preet...he loves food.

* "from the height advantage that his father's shoulder gave him, the child looked down at his grandfather, still sniffling for impact." 😆

* "…the child snuggled closer into his arms, with the air of sharing confidences making the adults grin at the cute picture the father and son presented." 😍 I loved Prem & Chahat's scenes in the show. To me it was irrelevant whether those scenes were perfect or not,... they were always so adorable!

* Prem looked down into his son's eyes, their lenght the one inheritance from his mother, and thought that he would agree to anything those eyes asked for. but then he would have to answer to the other pair of eyes that had given birth to these. so he took the path of sanity instead."

* "preet sighed, watching the conversation, and muttered so that everyone but the contemplative child could hear. ''great, pb. make sure that anand becomes prem juneja the second. couldn't you just have left it at 'accidents can happen.' and that they can happen to some people more often than others?'' 🤣🤣 but all he earned was a stern look from his brother, and a slap on the upside of his head from his father." ....Was this in reference to your ff ?... Heer's accidents with Prem. Wow Premeer's son is Anand....lovely name!

* 'er... heer bhabhi?'' preet's face was wicked. 😆 ''i think that what anand taught us today is that around you and prem bhaiyya, apparently paint does. right, pb?''

* "prem looked at the frown on his beloved's face and the army of laughing faces of the grown-up juneja's in front of them, and wondered what god he had upset that day for having landed up in the spot that he was in just then." 😲 😛 😆 Poor Prem... 😆

Preet was/is my 2nd favourite character in the show. I miss Preet's laugh now.

maybe you all will think it's an odd time to be running this particular poll.

maybe i have actually already run this poll before.

but i was writing something for nans, and something about prem and heer struck me afresh.

and then of course, i desperately needed to talk to someone about it.

and of course, this phorum, this p(h)ost was the obvious place for me to run to.

but then, i wondered -- will anyone be interested?

i mean, the show's over.

there's talk about archiving it's home.

maybe... maybe i am really one of the phew who have a prem and heer demon pair who never let me forget them for very long, who never let me rest completely in peace even when i think i have nothing to do, nothing to think about, no promises to anyone, no work to be done.

even then, maybe especially then!, these two pop up, all dewey-eyed and soft, and remind me that a part of me still belongs to them.

maybe i am the only one.

so maybe i shouldn't post?
