17 dec: a big thing, a little thing, wfp ends??! - Page 2

Prem is back with a bang & so to celebrate this I had to write too. Yes finally ur wfp is over. If it was based only on the episode maybe u could have continued till they officially declared it was Prem but HC himself said in SBS that he is back but won't recognise these people inspite of feeling a strange attraction. He also mentioned amazing chemistry & a feeling of pulling apart inspite of feeling attracted. I was wondering where have I heard these words before! Infact was thinking of supplying him more words by asking him to read our comments. 😃 So definitely it is an amnesia track they r following. But he is back as Prem as we all expected from the beginning.

The episode was mindblowing to me. I was mesmerised by the cinematography, the long shots, the lighting, the zooming of the camera on these 2.....it was done perfectly. I liked the camerawork after a long time.

Editing was also ok, won't say excellent but was ok.

Didn't like the dubbed voice on Heer, when these 2 r shown in an intense important scene I would prefer their own voices anyday over anybody's. I couldn't relate to the emotions of the dialogues along with this voice, at times it sounded a little screechy but overall it was ok I guess.

Now for the main part, I noticed minutely about these 2 & no Prem was not wearing white socks with black boots. Infact he was wearing an ankle high boots with some silver metal buckles I guess & u couldn't even see his socks. When he was running all u could see was his boots & trousers.

The hugs, well where do I begin? It was perfectly picturised, I couldn't have expected a better entry of Prem. In the night against the moon at the side of a log fire arrives a silhoutte figure with a backpack & the outline of the figure told us who it was. When he saw Heer swaying to faint he ran & caught her at the right moment & what I loved was the expressions of both of them. Heer had this unbelievable look, she must have thought she was hallucinating & so she had to touch his face to make sure. And he had this blank, confused lost look with not a single shred of recognition in it & yet when she touched his face he kind of swayed his face as if it burnt him & yet he wanted to linger the moment. Just amazing! He tried to look deep into her, as if penetrating her very soul & when she fainted we have Prem carrying Heer against the dark background with that haunting mindblowing melody 'isi desh mein hai mera dil', absolutely brilliant!

The imaginary hug was also superb & u can write thesis on um, inter all body parts distance. Both were fantastic actingwise. How Heer went running to him, slowly turned him around & then finally made sure with her eyes he was all there right in front of her all in 1 piece & then just flung herself onto him. He hugged her back as well, this was the tightest hug ever. Btw did u do top 5 hugs, if not then this one surely will be ranked in the top 5. Loved how her hands roved all over his back & hair. Then she pulled apart to take a look at him & again kissed his hands frantically as if there is no tomorrow. At this point if u notice carefully there seemed to be a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. I agree with Smita I wish it was his face. After this again she flung herself onto him.

For once I am speechless & thank the creatives from the bottom of my heart for giving us what they did. I just hope all the changes in the creative department is afterall a good change. Hope they take it up all the way from here. Only thing that didn't sit well with me in this entire episode was the fact Prem left Heer just lying on the sand all by herself. I mean he could have taken her to the vagabonds like he went. Maybe they did it to bring out the more brutal inhuman side of Rampal. But that was one factor I couldn't digest.

Btw there is a change in production head, Anmol Singh, though no idea how it will affect the quality of the show but a major change is addition of Santram Verma in the list of directors. If yesterday was anything to go by then I have high hopes for the future.

Couldn't help myself but got carried away with this long post but nevertheless will wait for ur BTLT of the episodes when u r back as we all know nobody does it better than u do. All the best for ur exams.
