Tasneem Sheikh aka Daljeet Chachi is back in Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil to boost the show's TRPs

Remember Tasneem Sheikh aka Daljeet Chachi from Ekta Kapoor's soap Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil (aired on Star Plus)? The actress whose track was apparently over in the show is being roped back in thanks to her character's tremendous popularity amongst the audiences.

Ekta confirmed the news and said, "My characters become very popular. Tasneem is a very good actress. She was always meant to come back after the contract issues got sorted out."

But according to the dialogue writer of the soap, Rekkha Modi, Tasneem's return is an asset to the show. She elaborated, "We were registering high TRPs when Tasneem was present on the show. On August 6 when she was about to leave the show, we registered the highest TRP of 5.03."

Tasneem is ecstatic that she is back. She said, "Everyone on the set is happy to see me again. This show has always been very special. I started shooting from last Tuesday. Balaji tried calling me a few times before this also but I was with my husband Sameer in London."

On the personal front too Tasneem has some great news to share; the actor is planning to start a family very soon.

thanks for this article...i reli like tasneem cos she is a brilliant actress....she always bring drama and masala to the show....so i appreciate it....i am a big fan of her's LOL....

nwayz.....if she is planning to start a family, then will she continue to be in the show? awww.....i hope she doesnt leave!!!....i am reli happy she is bak, cos since prem died, the show went to it's low point, and now DJ comes, and comes with her is a gr8 deal of excellent dialogues!!!

If they have brought Tasneem back because she'll increase the TRPs then they should really think of bringing back Harshad. I know there has been a strong buzz of him coming back but I can't believe it till I actually see him. Also what is suprising is that the neither did the reporter ask them nor Ekta mentioned anything about his return. Making me wonder if there is any truth to the whole Harshad coming back story. Anyway yesterday's TRP is a good indication that people are not happy with current track. The show is now at 8 position. Guess it'll fall more if they get Heer married to RR and they don't bring Prem back. BTW you guys and send in your comments about the article. Just check the link and send your comments.

Why do people still call her Tasneem Sheikh- I thought she changed her surname after she got married to Sameer?? I hear she even changed her first name to Tanisha?? Anyway, I'm glad she's back in the show, it was going crappy, needed some spicing up!! xx
