Rinks read the One Shot of Sharad and Divyanka that I posted in the BMTD forum, and so she thought it'd be fun if I made one for Harshiti as well, and so I did! [😛 I just hope everyone likes it! 😃
AN: For those of the readers who have never seen the show Koffee with Karan, on Star One, this might be confusing for you all, but basically it's a talk show scene with Karan Johar! Enjoy!
Music plays. The room lights up and we see a man sitting on a comfy looking couch, drinking coffee.
Karan Johar: Hello all you lovely people! Welcome to yet another episode of Koffee with Karan. Main hoon Karan Johar, aur aaj new years eve ke din, we bring you one of the most cutest, sweetest and most sharmili jodi's of television. Everyone says that their love is portrayed through their silent eyes, their innocent love and that sizzling chemistry. All their fans are eagerly waiting to see and hear how their reel Jodi became a real life Jodi. And here they are to make this show just a bit hotter than the coffee! Please welcome the gorgeous Additi Gupta and the charming Harshad Chopra, fondly known as Harshiti, or Premeer!
*audience claps*
Additi walks in dressed in a white anarkali suit with her hands adorned with bangles and her hair all straight with a few curls on the bottom. Harshad follows closely behind dressed in an impeccable black blazer with a white shirt underneath.
Karan: Hello...*gets up and gives them both hugs and air kisses*
*they all sit down*
Harshad: thanks for inviting us on the show, Karan.
Karan: I should be thanking the both of YOU! Your boss hardly lets you out of her sight.
Additi: *smiles* we're sorry about that.
Karan: Stop it! *he waves his hand to brush it off* It's not your fault that you're currently her favourite pair! *he winks at them*
Harshad: *grins his trademark grin at Karan* We've heard that you had something to do with it,
Karan: *innocently* What do you mean?
Additi: Ekta ma'am told us that when Harshad's character on the show was killed, you were the one who forced and persuaded her to bring him back.
Karan: *nods* guilty as charged. Anyways enough about what I had to do with this whole story, let's get on with your off screen love story.
*Harshad and Additi glance at each other and smile*
Karan: Wah! Kya pyar hain? So now do tell the love story.
Harshad: Well as everyone knows, we met on the sets of Kis Desh Mein Hain Mera Dil, or KDMHMD, as we all call it—and contrary to other belief's—
Karan: *interrupts* what do you mean?
Additi: well everyone thought it was love at first sight.
Karan: Was it?
Harshad: I guess I did like her when I first met her, because I mean she's really lovable and sweet.
Additi: *blushes* Stop it!
Harshad: well she still is,
*Karan and Harshad both laugh*
Karan: but when and where did love come up from?
*Harshad gestures for Additi to talk*
Additi: honestly, I did start liking him from the first time I saw him, just that he was cute and he seemed sweet, but as I got to know him. I realized that he's an incredible human being as well.
Harshad: Thanks Additi, bahot dino baad itna aacha compliment mila!
*Additi rolls her eyes*
Karan: The love here is definitely evident, but we'll continue more of it after the break. Come back soon!
<*><*><*><*>BREAK<*><*><*><*>
Karan: Thanks for coming back! Tonight on this special day, I've got Harshad and Additi together for the first time since they've admitted their off screen 'affair' so to say.
Harshad: Affair? I wouldn't call it that.
Karan: aacha? To aap isse kya kehte?
Harshad: *holds Additi's hand on the couch* Pyar!
*Additi widens her eyes and takes her hand away*
Karan: there were also some talks before that you Additi was too young for you, what was all that about? How old are you actually Additi?
Additi: *grins* I'm 19 at the moment.
Karan: Wow that is fairly young. What about you Harshad?
Harshad: I'm 25
Karan: *nods* so a 6 year difference. That's not too bad; there have been some relationship that are nearly 15 years apart.
Additi: we definitely don't think it's bad at all.
Karan: Uhem—moving on, describe your dream date Additi.
Additi: *gulps* my dream date?
Karan: Yes, *smiles sneakily* unless you've already had it?
*Additi shakes her head*
Harshad: chalo Additi, ab batao bhi?
Additi: *glares at Harshad* Well, I think it would start with my date sending me something really sweet, like chocolates or flowers, and then he'd either call me, or send me a sweet note about what he feels for me—
Karan: so far so sweet! *claps his hands together and smiles*
Additi: Haina? *blushes* phir woh mujhe ek car mein pick up karenge, aur kahin beach pe lejayega. And then we'd eat some amazing food and just walk along the beach in the moonlight hand in hand. *blushes hard*
Karan: wow, I'll have to use something like that in one of my movies soon! *they all laugh* Harshad, what's your dream date like?
Harshad: *rubs his chin a few times* I think more than my dream date, I'd do whatever my significant other would like, *grins, then looks down*
*Additi looks up and smiles at him*
Karan: You two, sach mein! Perfect for each other! I'll have to think of something to get the controversies on this show going again, join me after this commercial break! Take a break!
<*><*><*><*>BREAK<*><*><*><*>
Karan: welcome to the not-so-hot Koffee with Karan show. I'm hoping I didn't make a mistake of bringing these two on the show for this special episode.
*Harshad and Additi look at each other and pout*
Harshad: what do you mean? It can never be a mistake with us around!
Additi: *giggles* He's right Karan, we're just slightly scared of your chatpate sawal, so we're trying to appear as normal as can be. What say?
Karan: oh? So you two are scared of that...well here's your favourite part then! The Rapid Fire Round! *he rubs his hands together excitedly* Ab aayega mazaa!
*Harshad glances at Additi who glances back at him*
Harshad: you know Karan; we're really not that interesting.
Karan: we'll see about that. And now that you protested first, I'll start with you!
*Additi suppresses a small smile*
Harshad: *rolls his eyes* Ab tum kyun has rahi ho?
Additi: yunhi
Harshad: Right.
Karan: stop! Both of you! *laughs* Are you ready Harshad?
Harshad: no
Karan: well too bad! *he looks over his cue cards* your time starts now! What's the one habit of Additi's that you cannot stand.
Harshad: nothing really.
*Additi blushes*
Karan: *mutters under his breath* how boring? *loudly* What's the one negative thing about working with Ekta?
Harshad: Ekta ma'am? She's like an angel.
*Karan stares at him with widened eyes*
Additi: Karan, are you okay?
Karan: *gulps* he called Ekta an angel.
Harshad: *nods* she is.
Karan: not the Ekta I know darling! Moving on, if you had to sing a song for Additi, which song would it be and why?
Harshad: Probably hulchul hui.
Additi: *interrupts* it's Ishq Hua!
Harshad: Hulchul hui
Additi: Ishq Hua! Karan, you explain it to him. The song is called Ishq Hua na?
Karan: *laughs* we'll discuss that after, first Harshad tell me why?
Harshad: *grins* Because of what you just saw. This is one song that sparked our attraction to each other. We had to perform it at the Star Parivaar awards once, and we kept fighting over the name of the song. *looks at Additi and smiles*
Karan: how sweet. Choices then? Acting in Films or Television?
Harshad: Television.
Karan: Karan Johar or Ekta Kapoor?
Harshad: *grimaces* That's really not fair.
Additi: Mine won't be that hard na?
Karan: too bad Harshad. And Additi darling, you'll see! *winks at her* So what'll it be Mr. Chopra?
Harshad: *sighs* Karan Johar. *looks into the camera* I still love you Ekta ma'am!
Karan: *laughs* how cute! Aamir Khan or Shahrukh Khan?
Harshad: I've been compared personality wise to Shahrukh, so... *shrugs*
Karan: very nicely answered. Hottest heroine on television? Shweta Tiwari, Surveen Chawla, Rucha Gujurati, or Mouni Roy?
Harshad: I'm not a fan of either of them.
Karan: oh really?
Harshad: *groans* I don't mean it in the controversial way, it's just to me, Additi is the best. *he takes her hand in his while she blushes*
Karan: Wow! Okay, stop distracting me! Fame or Fortune?
Harshad: Fame
Karan: Success or Love?
Harshad: Both.
Karan: you can't say both.
Harshad: but it's true for me, with my success came love.
Karan: *rolls his eyes* That's the end of your rapid fire round, and I've got to say you did fairly well. Now moving on to the girl on your left. Hello!
Additi: *nervously* Uh—hi.
Karan: tum to aise dar rahi ho, jaise main tumhe kha jaonga.
Additi: *giggles* hume kuch log ne warn kiya hain!
Karan: Aacha—oh! Ab batao, Harshad ki aisi ek baat jise tumhe chid hain?
Additi: When he teases me.
Harshad: she's lying! She said she loves that!
Karan: she's lying! Time for the lie-o-meter then! *Karan presses the button which makes a beep-beep sound* Anyways—the one thing you love about him?
*Additi quickly looks at Harshad then back down*
Karan: answer na?
Additi: His everything. Whole personality and just in general—him!
Karan: how cute?
*Additi laughs*
Karan: What is the one movie you'd love to stare in?
Additi: Jab We Met. I feel it would give me a chance to show my different emotions better than in KDMHMD.
Karan: Where you're not crying at the drop of a hat? *snickers*
Additi: *smirks* something like that.
Karan: If there was one man in the world you'd leave Harshad for, whom would it be and why?
Additi: *ponders for awhile* probably Shahrukh khan, if he was single.
*Harshad smiles, looking content with her answer*
Karan: Choices then? Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan?
Additi: Shahrukh Khan.
Karan: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge?
Additi: Sorry Karan, but DDLJ.
Karan: you break my heart, *grins* but why?
Additi: It was the first movie I really saw and understood. I have a sort of attachment to anything related to that movie.
Karan: so if I asked you, Rani Mukherjee or Kajol, you'd pick—?
Additi: Kajol.
Karan: *smiles* thought so. Hottest man on television? Karan Singh Grover? Sharad Malhotra? Shabbir Alhuwalia or Sushant Rajput?
Additi: *smirks* I'm pretty sure, my best answer would be to say none of them—but I've got a special place in my heart for Sushant! *grins*
Karan: He plays Preet on your show right?
*Harshad nods*
Additi: He plays the role of Harshad's younger brother.
Karan: *smirks* that's why you picked him...so that Harshad would have no problem! I see what you're doing.
*Additi blushes*
Karan: More choices. Would you rather act in a commercial film or a film with critical acclaim?
Additi: *groans* Both?
Karan: *shakes his head* one or the other.
Additi: *sighs* Commercial
Karan: you're my kinda gal! *winks at her as she laughs* Fame or Fortune?
Additi: Fame
Karan: success or love?
Additi: always love.
Karan: how sweet. Last one—Harshad Chopra or Karan Johar?
Additi: *bites her lip* Eek...
*Harshad sighs and gestures to KJo*
Karan: Say Harshad Chopra darling!
Additi: *in a quiet voice* Harshad
Karan: zara zor se, mujhe sunaiye nahin diya
Additi: *glares at him* I said Harshad! *laughs*
Karan: that's good! So that was the rapid fire round folks, I'll announce the winner right after the break. Stay tuned for some extra romantic things headed your way! Come back soon!
<*><*><*><*>BREAK<*><*><*><*>
Karan: And we're back! We just finished the gruelling rapid fire round, and I've come to the conclusion of who wins my super special Koffee Hamper. The winner is—drumroll please—Additi Gupta!
*Additi laughs as she stands up*
*Karan walks over to her and hands her the basket, but she stumbles under the weight of it and so Harshad leans forward to catch her in his arms*
Karan: yeh hua na asli hero? *winks into the camera* Excuse me? *clears his throat* Additi ji, Harshad ji? Taping abhi chalo hain!
*Additi and Harshad immediately let go of each other and sit down nervously*
Karan: I should make you apologize for that, but in fact that was setting ground for our next segment, we've complied an AV of all your romantic moments shared on screen as Prem and Heer of the hit serial Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and so we'll show it to our audience now!
*An AV plays of cute romantic moments between Prem and Heer. When the AV ends, Harshad and Additi look at Karan waiting for his sarcastic comments*
Karan: kya hain? Why are you both looking at me like this?
Additi: Don't you want to add your comments?
Harshad: You're famous for them, you know?
Karan: *laughs* I would, but right now I'm getting ready for the new years segment of our episode.
*Harshad and Additi look at each other and then at him, fully confused*
Karan: Firstly we want you two to dance with each other, promising that for the next entire year, you two will fulfil all your promises to each other as your resolution.
Harshad: what?
Karan: I think it's quite simple, we dim the lights, you two dance!
Additi: we understood, we just think it's kinda well...weird!
Karan: weird or not, you two are doing it!
Harshad: fine, let's start this.
Additi: *looks at Karan* you are going to be sitting right there?
Karan: does it make you uncomfortable?
*Additi nods*
Karan: then I'll def still sit here! *he laughs while they scowl* Hit the music...
*Harshad and Additi reluctantly stand up, and she adjusts her duppatta at her neck. The song Tujhe Dekha To from Dilwale Dulhainya Le Jayenge starts, and Harshad puts his hand out for Additi to dance with him, she obliges and they both start swaying across the floor, before long, they forget that anyone is around them, or that the cameras are taping any of this.*
Harshad: *whisper* you are so beautiful...
*Additi looks up at his face, and smiles.*
*Right then Karan signals for the light man to flash on the lights and so it stuns Harshad and Additi.*
Karan: you two...are made for each other...
*Additi blushes*
Harshad: *bows down* Thank-you Karan!
Karan: not a problem. Next task!
Additi: There's more?
Karan: I think you'll enjoy this part the most.
*Additi smiles softly*
Karan: Tum*points at Harshad* Additi ke liye gaane gao ge.
*Harshad's eyes widen as Additi bursts out laughing*
Harshad: Me singing? Your audience may never watch your show again.
Karan: I'll take my chances, and you my dear, *gestures to Additi* get to pick the song he sings.
Additi: *grins happily* I think he should sing, Ishq Hua!
*Harshad groans*
Karan: *laughs* chalo Harshad, Additi's waiting.
*Harshad slowly stands up and leans down on his knees in front of her and takes her hand in his*
Harshad: *voice cracks a bit* hulchul hui...zara shor hua....dil chor hua...teri ore hua....aisi chali jab hawa, ishq hua hi hua,
*Additi can't stop blushing as slowly Harshad pulls her up to stand and starts dancing with her*
Harshad: *continues singing softly* palkon se honthon tak jo rah nikalti hain, guzre na wahan se yeh teri ghalti hain, palkon se honthon tak jo rah nikalti hain...ho rehte hain ab hum wahan, ishq hua hi hua...
*Karan starts clapping and so they both break apart*
Karan: That was wonderful! You two really are a match made in heaven.
Additi: *grins* thanks Karan, but now we all know, this song is called Ishq Hua, not Hulchul Hui!
Harshad: Hey now—it starts with Hulchul Hui na?
*they both star arguing while Karan faces the camera*
Karan: that is a true perfect Jodi in love if you ask me...they are both certainly hotter than the hot coffee I serve on the show! This was the perfect way to end last year and get started for a brand new fantastic year ahead as we got Harshad Chopra and Additi Gupta the lovable Jodi of Prem and Heer to finally admit their true feelings for each other on national television.
*the camera pans on Harshiti who are still too engrossed in fighting to notice*
Karan: that's all for tonight guys, keep watching Koffee With Karan, where I bring together my most favourite people! Have a Happy New Year ahead!
This was for Rinks, and so I really hope it fulfilled her expectations! 😳 I tried hard to make it believable, 😳
