*throwing up my hands* i'm convinced, i'm convinced! *why is this forum being so ... uh ... sensitive today??! seriously not what i'm used to! 🤣*

*sigh*... And thats what really attracted me to the couple too. I loved the 'made for eachother' thing. By killing Prem, they'd be killing the concept, no? I hate it when people go against there word.

*frown* which is actually why "killing prem" and prem alone just doesn't make sense to me... seriously. there's something else that we are not being told. so i really don't believe that "killing prem" is all we will get to see -- i can just feel it. (caveat emptor: i usually never get anything right about these shows. so this is just me being logical story-thinker here.)

Its always something thats affecting there future. Why do Prem and Heer always have to go through all the bad stuff? Shouldn't bad people be getting the bad karma, and not the good people. Perfect Prem had such a perfect life before they started putting it on camera.

other than the sanjana death, no? and before that, he had lost his mother? and he seemed to have been a pretty messed up kid? i think what prem-heer have are the perfect love. for all that we like to call prem perfect, he not quite that. he is anti-social (and we think it's perfect). he's dorky in how he worships his often-misguided father and his sometimes-misguided mother (and we think that's kinda cool). he's a hilarious dancer (which i think is perfect 😆). what makes him perfect is just this ... thing! he has with heer. and that is soo perfect, that maybe, they just attract all kinds of bad karma, 'cause karma gets jealous? 😆

Exactly! They could go on like this, and just show how Prem and Heer's love survives through it all. Aren't the creatives supposed to be creative, then how come were the only ones with the creative idea's right now? 🤔

the hindi-tv-show industry sometimes seems to be a little too harebrained and too unplanned to be such a big industry. they really need to get their act together if they want to start making really good shows. my cousins from singapore were telling me this afternoon that a lot of the newer (non balaji-telefilm) shows have much better production values -- like better paced out stories, fewer jerky character introductions, and far better editing! -- than balaji. i don't know if that happens because they are running far fewer shows which they can then organise better? but whatever it is, i hope what that's gonna do is that it's going to put pressure on balaji to do their own shows better. after all, they are all competing in the same trp space -- it seems unfair to put all the pressure of delivering trps on just the actors? who in any case have less control on the overall show than the team put together...

*phew! where did this come into our story?*

i won't. just thought youshould know that so far we had: goldilocks and the three bears and salt-and-pepper into it... 😆

I hate character's like them, and what I hate more is there all coming from Canada. 🤣 What are they trying to show? All Canadians are brats? Wtfe?
And that meant What Thoughts From Estee.... err.. do we have? I'm sure you didn't think anything else either.

🤣 i hadn't realised they were all from canada! really? in all shows??? i can see a canadian-blackmark hovering over the balaji telefilm hq... 🤣
and don't worry -- i didn't think anything else...🤣

I've never read the ramayan, but to all i know (which isn't much) NOO! That never happens. Ram and Sita stay till the end. Once again, i hate it when people go against there own word.

well, if you don't know -- ram did betray sita, you know? which is why i have always hated it when prem-heer are referred to as ram-sita.. ram's 🤢

i'm sooo with you on this...
yesh good now stay in agreement with me, while i plan on makin you admit how much u love prem, -mutters to self- hehe

aren't we just lucky though, that with prem-heer, one thing has always been true: they will prevail! go prem! go heer! 😆
ah yesh we are!! whooohoooo! premeer all the way! -dances-

😲 put away that knife! no violence like that on this post, or this forum! but there was a good idea upstairs of flushing the toilet with his head in it which sounded quite ... non-violent and quite apt for laluchacha, donchya think?especially if it'll clear his head and open his eyes a bit? 😆
hehe i was kidding!! calm down yesh fine ill go with shabz idea -crosses arms- guess i should cancel his kidnapping...grr btw how did you quote shabo in my comment? 😆😆

murder's bad. and in my posts, er, "hate" just may be not the right thing you feel for maya. 😆 and yeah, dislike really really badly does work fine! 😆
again shabz?? haila estee do you need glasses like i do? 😆😆 jk jk ah i just dnt like her way of acting, its soo ughh in my mind, seriously! ill stick with disliking-really-really-badly then! 😆

tell me about it. someone please get ratpal and vitchface married and out of this story? right away!?? 🤢
forget their marriage, just make em disappear period! 😆

😆 don't think i've heard it -- who's it by?
ish by akon, ish called mr. lonely-akon
well, 'bout the ramayan, what's even more weird is that we've just had one evil ratpal say that he will be the ravan of this story too! so no matter how many other ravans prem's rescued heer from, i thought here was another on the way!
ah i think of all the bad guys as ravan's in this show 😆
which brings up one ratpal snippet - ratpal mom asking whether he was sure that he wants to join relationships with this family, and ratpal saying that it's not so much join a relationship here, rather than breaking existing ones? i thought that was another hint that ratpal's was doing to get heer somehow -- 😲😲😲 does this mean that ratpal's going to engineer some prem accident to get him out of the way???!! doesn't ravan do something like that in ramayan??!
*man, i need to get my hands on mom's copy of the ramayan -- now!*
ahh that scared me, he's sooo creepy!! and him with heer is like plain ewww factor 😆 yea ravan captured sita and ram had to fight his way through many obstacles to get to sita ah when u get it, translate it for me kay 😆

hey! what's with all of you today!? that's the second apology asked for "if i said something wrong?" that i've got? what's up? do i have a "i'm-in-a-bad-mood-and-will-bite" sticker on my back or something??
its not that E!!! calm down 😆😆 i just didn't wanna say something wrong abt the whole ram-sita topic cuz its a huge topic na, thats why 😆
what you write is your opinion. i respect all opinions. i've rarely seen someone shoot their mouth off -- ie, write something without thinking 'bout it. or write something to intentionally hurt. so on this forum, i tend to love all opinions.
aww shoo shweet! yea havent rlly seen that except that one time with that chick but thats something else 😆
so stop apologising! all of you! instantly!
okay maam! -sits up straight- 😆
*gee...! need to get a glass of cold water just now.... *
lmao, you wanna give me some water to grow my cactus here in this lonesome desert 😆😆

😆 it'll be up post dinner session tonight -- i promise. and you partly get to make your own calling cards -- a part of it depends upon when you get into the club... 😆
yay!! cant wait for that 😆 ahh i dnt wanna make mine, i suck in creativity 😆😆

this week was quite a choppy ride, wasn't it? but despite the slap and the fact that prem never apologised to heer for it! (analysed to death in: http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1045538)
i thought it was a really nice week. why? 'cause it really centered 'round prem-heer. it was a slice of their life. together and getting down to business of actually knowing who the other person is. finally!

I didn't see all the episodes, but I agree.. Was really glad for the focus on Prem and Heer (finally!) and no Dheer! Did you notice? Didya? Didya? (I'm on a caffiene high! Woot! 🤣)

1. y'know? the thing that had always struck me as weird 'bout prem-and-heer is they're traditional, not conventional. i thought conventional is love born out of boy-girl smiling at each other. finding out they like each other after they start knowing each other. then finding out they love each other, when they know each other. but for our two-some?

our twosome were "made-for-each-other" by the "stars". knew each other the moment they caught sight of each other. when their hands touched and felt sparks fly. all by speaking through their eyes. when words came, they sounded like something carved in stone, rather than typed on a thinkpad t43. as if they had gone through their normal-courtship centuries ago and are so settled that they don't need the "niceties" of a conventional love.

so it was nice to get demonstrations of prem-heer-are-one. the last time it was heer trying to find a way to tell prem 'bout something she had to. this time it was prem trying to find a way to tell heer 'bout something he had to. the last time, it was something in the present that could affect their future. this time it was something in the past that could affect their future.

as i thought 'bout it, i wondered: why can't the story just keep on going like this? it's all kinda .. normal. it doesn't have anyone get shot. or put into jail. or get murdered. the story itself is 'bout the love. it's not like the long lived, tired saas-bahu serials where the drama is hysterical as are the people and the situations. for sure, there are hysterical people in this serial. but here? the drama is in how prem-heer find each other, learn each other's past, get comfortable in each other's present, work together to make sure that "we never hurt each other again". why can't this be the story that continues? can't i just keep having more prem-heer-demonstrations, please? 😆

Yeah, they're quite unconventional, but in a good way! That's what keep's the show so watch-able! 😆 Old-fashioned maybe, but that's what's so great about the story! The typical saas-bahu stories get boring after awhile..

2. another thing that i'm enjoying is the pace at which the story is going. while it feels a little too slow sometimes 🥱 and a little too fast sometimes 😲 but, at the end of the week, i think it's just right. 😆

... oh-kay.. I see the Goldilock's reference now.. 😆

3. the interesting satellite parts of their story to look forward to? preet angles! there's preet-laluchacha angle -- i've never seen preet actually ever asking his father anything about the business. for the first time, he actually comes to ask. he can't let go of the kidder in him, of course. but he did ask. and (as usual) laluchacha can't see the real intention in a son's eyes.

there's the preet-meher-harman angle -- since the first time that he accused meher of being a thief, there's been some sort of acceptance between preet-meher. their interaction during the jogging episode. their little skirmish at harman's "office". it's never been overt -- 'cause meher's not preet's type? but i'm suddenly enjoying the idea that we might get to see a preet-meher-harman thread spin out now...

Go Preet! 😆 He's the life of the party - er, show.. Prem-Heer are (or should be) the focus, but he adds excitement, and life to their old-fashioned type love-story..
And the Preet-Meher angle will be very interesting if the creatives decide to show that.. I don't mind Preet-Ash now, especially if she is shown repenting for her misdeeds, but Preet-Meher I think would be cuter.. Especially if they create a triangle.. But add Ash and that's a rectangle.. And then there's Maya.. Hmm.. In the immortal words of Brooke Davis "That's a love rectangle plus one, whatever that is.." (For the record, I do know that makes a pentagon..🤣)

4. bizarre parts of the story? how unconnected gayatri-mom is to her other children. seriously! she noticed the laluchacha-preet interaction and said nothing? not to mention, how she tends to stay faaaar away from vitchface? (although that's totally understandable...😆)another bizarreness is ratpal ratpal's the other bizarre-ness. er.. do we have to consider (with unspeakable distress) a kooky-ratpal relationship? 🤢

It's a wonder the rest of the siblings don't resent Prem for being the centre of Gayatri-Mom's world.. But then most of them seem to adore him as well, so I guess they understand where she's coming from. 🤣
The less said about kooky and ratpal, the better.. 🤢

6. the boring parts of the story? how alike veera and maya are. totally boring! caricatures who have not deviated a teeny weeny bit from the their expected versions. these are two whose stories i am not looking forward to seeing...

True, very true! It's a wonder the Canadians watching the show haven't sued for the misrepresentation! I would've! Especially Lallu-chacha.. (Can the MNSTR's give me a seat in court? Could you pull some strings for me E? I wanna sue him as well! He gives me nightmares.. 🤣)

7. but the real question is: for all that we keep hearing 'bout prem as ram, heer as sita, preet as lakshman, ratpal as ravan -- is that all just a lie??? er... from what i remember of the ramayan, ram's the guy who actually lives till the very end..? does anyone remember their ramayan? was there a part where ram vanishes, leaving lakshman and sita desolate?? hmmm.

What little I know about the Ramayan shows that Ram never left Sita and Lakshman.. I mean, he left Sita (or sent her away), and he did misunderstand her, but he never left the two of them behind like how they seem to be showing Prem leaving Preet and Heer..
Also the whole Preet-Heer angle idea completely disregards the whole Ram-Sita-Lakshman comparisons they are making! 🤢

cute memory to end with: while prem's tying his necklace around heer's neck, she has her hand resting on his chest, above his heart, as if she can see his vows in his eyes, but also feel it in his heartbeat? 😍

I never noticed that! Will go and watch it again!
And (randomness insert) I was eating out with a friend and her sister today, and had a moment whereby the ande scene flashed in my head.. Neither one of them watch the show, but I immediately thought of the forum and the show when Bhav (my friend) told me that her sister doesn't like egg.. I started giggling, and they looked at me like I was crazy! Which I probably am, but beside the point! 🤣 I'm planning to send her the link to the video of the ande scene and some of the discussions here on the forum, so she can understand why my love for eggs has increased! 🤣
Love,
Radz
