I know everyone is angry with Heer right now..I dont blame you guys honestly coz I was freaking mad on her too..like a hour ago....but then I downloaded the second part of the epi and if you watch it carefully then you will notice that Prem is suspicious about Heer's memory loss. He questioned her twice and then stared at her searchingly.
During the jail epi...Prem had said that Heer doesn't know how to lie..he was right..the minute I saw Prem going to the window and Heer gazing at him with guilt..I knew that she NOW remembers everything. NOW she does. I truly believe that Heer had lost her memory..she did..her reaction to Prem was very genuinely bewildered in the hospital. She really didn't know him.
But thankfully she had only suffered from temporary amnesia..sometimes it takes only a restful sleep to get over such temporary amnesia and in Heer's case it was just that. I dunno why but I think seeing Prem by her bed in the morning must have jogged her memory back.
Heer is just too simple minded to think of such a wicked plan of amnesia...so she really did suffer from amnesia and when she got her memory back..she thought over it and decided that faking it for a short period of time is the best way to leave Prem without confrontation....I am just glad that she just didn't disappear like that and had the courtesy to write a good bye letter before leaving the house.
Also in the precap..we see a very HAPPY Prem going to get Heer...again I repeat that he knows that her memory is back and so he is that happy đ
